In the lore she was stated to be as powerful as mace windu. she used Makashi and Ataru in combat and was a straight badass. In lore, Anakin was told to kill her first because of how dangerous she was. She put up no fight because general grievous had her lightsaber. General grievous used electric cables to beat her as he would have lost any other way. Also in the lore she knew the jedi would fall but also knew she wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Words cannot describe how underrated and underused Shaak Ti is.....If she had actually been treated like a real character, she could really go places...
@@LozadaPR I think that was exactly it, George Lucas wanted to give her a proper scene giving the character justice but unfortunately he never managed to do that
I really like Shaak Ti because, although she appears to be a caring, mother-figure to the clones, she is just a brutal maniac when she is forced into battle.
I think she would have made a great Grand master of the jedi in other times. She is calm, rational, intelligent, impartial, polite, wise, insightful, resourceful, cooperative, humble, strong willed, an inspiring leader and powerful.
She died Two times in revenge of the sith (both deleted scenes) one killed by grievous (this is non canon) and other one during the Jedi purge, killed by Darth Vader (this is the canonical) One time in force unleashed, we fought in a boss fight and she kills herself throwing into the sarlacc on Felucia
She was SO close to solving the puzzle and exposing the chip that comtrol the Clones during Order 66. She was just tricked by Palpatine. And Ahsoka DID find out the truth, but only when it was FAR too late. It just shows how resourceful they are as a species.
If I was a Padawan, I wouldn't mind having her for my Master. IMO, she's almost like a mother towards the clone troopers she commands. But the one thing that baffles me about Shaak Ti is how in the galaxy is she able to run around in the dress she wears without tripping?! If I tried that, I'd be pulling multiple faceplants and probably ruin the gown in the process.
@@GamingLovesJohn I know that. Personally speaking, if I was a Jedi Knight running around the galaxy and chasing after the bad guys, I'd wear something a bit more practical. My Star Wars OC, Edaara Sunstrider, prefers wearing pants and saves the dresses and gowns for formal/"black tie" events.
Shaak Ti is so pretty and such an amazing Jedi I love her Her and Plo Koon are similar in a way and I love that. They both respect the clones and see them as more than just clones made to fight and die
Remember that Palpatine had subtle mind tricks that he used on any of the council members. He was powerful enough to perform mind tricks on almost every Master, clouding thier ability to read the force, and masking his true identity of a Sith Lord. The only Jedi he was unable to fully trick was Yoda, but he could still mislead with sheer charisma and logic.
Shaak Ti is the Indian represention in this story. Shaak Ti is actually Shakthi in Hindu mythology which means Strength. So her character is written in such way as to be strong, calm, inquisitive and decisive at all situations thats how she always sees thru and does what's right rather than just doing whats been told to do.
It's funny how Ahsoka and Shaak Ti never had any interactions despite being the same species. I'm not upset about it, but at the same time I feel like there could've been some interaction at least.
16:10 It's so awful to see Shaak Ti and Anakin sitting right next to each other on a bench, as equals, when Anakin stabs her while she is meditating and unarmed later on.
I really like her accent, her voice actress is doing a great job! Her character really is underrated I’m still hoping Lucasfilms is gonna do her character more justice one day! She was a very powerful Jedi
I'm a big believer that she survived order 66, first of all, there's no actual death scene, only a vision of which we don't even see Vader. also there is no way Shaak Ti would've just retired to her chambers to meditate and allow the temple to be attacked whilst it was under her control. If she died in the temple, she died fighting but I believe she was powerful enough to survive as she could see what was going on. Unless her death scene is released, she survived order 66 to me. Finally, dying by Vader was a deleted scene from ROTS, her deleted death from grievous is non cannon from the same movie, why should we believe the other death scene is cannon too.
@jhorrorfan2116, as much as I’d love to see her survive like she did in The Force Unleashed, sadly Yoda’s vision in the Cave of Dagobah as well as other sources in canon confirm that Shaak officially died by Vader backstabbing her during Order 66. In Legends she actually fought him off long enough to save other Jedi and to escape to Felucia, wherein she would be killed by Starkiller almost 2 decades later. Simply put, she was a badass in Legends there is a reason she’s up there with Obi Wan and Plo Koon in terms of skill and power
@@Leftylt1234 true but there were parts of yoda's vision which didn't happen. First of all, all the jedi like Luminara at the beginning running into the clones and killing them, eeth koth being killed by sidious and saesee tiin having a blue Lightsaber as well as sidious being hooded when he attacked them. I still believe that Shaak Ti could have survived and personally I believe that vision to be flawed

Shaak Ti a lot more hardcore in Legends. She, Yoda, and Obi-Wan are the only council members to survive the initial purge. 3 years before "A New Hope," she's found training the natives of the planet Felucia in the ways of the force. Vader sends Starkiller to assassinate her. They duel and he wounds her, but she chooses to fling herself into a sarlaac pit. Before she does so, she tells Starkiller he could do a lot better than to serve Sidious and Vader.
Honestly in my own opinion, they wasted an opportunity with Jedi Master Shaak Ti. She was an amazing lightsaber Duelists and Hand to Hand combat fighter ( her species is known to endure far more fatigue/pain than humans can), and she could use Battle Meditation, a rare force technique among Jedi. I'm just really glad they at least showed her being a good group leader/fighter in this mini series
In 7st grade, i had got a teacher that seems very similar to Shaak Ti, She walks a little slow as shaak, her voice's angelical, and her moves are also quiet. That was before vacations, in vacations i was watchin' the clone wars, and this video was in recommended, i played it, after watch, this character had remind me to someone, and was that teacher, now i am in 8st grade, i'm in 14 group, the 8st's grades starts with the 12, and she only gives class to 12... Bad, but not at all, to be honest.
The death of Shaak Ti is all over the place with the films deleted scenes, books and game of force unleashed. The way things are is that the more they keep elaborating on this same time period, the more confused we are getting. We get star killer in the game who apparently kills shaak ti, then we get the inquisitors who appear later in recent years who do all the hunting......then Maul re-emerges again from death......The rule of two does not apply anymore and there are lots of contradictions.
And she also showed up in The Force unleashed game which you play as Starkiller a Vader Apprentice whom abducted by Vader from His Jedi parent and kills remaining Jedi whom survived from 66

Literally died twice in the same movie, both deaths deleted from the film. Like, wtf guys why couldn't you have kept at least one of them in the movie? XD
Maybe it's just me but Close me Wars Shaak Ti is so fine. She looks weird in live action and other mediums but looks fantastic in this series. The voice too

I Wonder if there are other Togruta characters out there besides Ashoka Tano & Shaak Ti that are still around. It would be fascinating to get to meet new and original characters that are Togruta. P.S. R.I.P. Shaak Ti 😔

Funnily enough Shak Ti has yet to “canonically” die afaik as we’ve not seen her body and she hasn’t died in any comics or extended material yet. Meaning despite her dying more then any other Jedi she May technically be alive. As of now all we’ve seen was her dying in the force vision presumably to Anakin but as that vision was not 100% accurate it may have played out differently
