Your journal is beautiful! It really shows what you can get out of a dominant image in a collection. And you manage to do so without feeling repetitious or boring. Quite the opposite! It makes me realize how scrumptious those flowers are! A really good journal with great balance between journal space vs decorated space, historical ephemera and the digitals. Very beautiful! I'm so glad you shared!

Hi Kathleen. This journal is like a big dose of springtime. Every page and spread has something wonderful to look at. Love the big floral wallpaper digital from DearJulieJulie; it is the perfect starting point for this journal. I love everything about the journals you create. Every time, I think "this is the best one yet." Then you do it again. I think that the way you use color is what sets your journals apart. But then having said that, there are the wonderful ways you do pockets, and folded paper, and...the list goes on. You have done a fantastic six months on the design team--so many pretty projects featuring Julie's digitals.
Love your cut-out (cut-work) pockets. I keep going to make one, but haven't found the time yet, but I just moved it up in my to-do list. Love the cut-work crochet and love to take fabric ideas and convert them to paper. This is a super cute fabric-to-paper idea. Also love your trims on the edges of the pages! Thanks, as always, for the inspiration!
Wow! So many pretty things in this journal! The cover, the embossed and waxed page, and the two peek-a-boo pockets with the roses and large butterfly are all fantastic. I also think the stamped and sponged graph paper is a nice idea. All the elements work so well together. You really have a great eye.

I just found your channel and am very impressed with your creativity I have been bin watching some of your videos and Have learned a lot of new techniques that I will be putting towards my own journals, I have been making junk journals for awhile but took off this last year for personal reasons but now I'm back at it! I did subscribe and will be looking forward to watching more I think your journals are Gorgeous !

Beautiful, Kathleen. I loved the rose stamping that you did on the (graph paper?). You said you sponged on the green for the leaves. Am curious how you stamped the swirls for the rose. Do you mind sharing the technique? Thank you. ❤
