You know mate I used to be fan of Shad's channel when it was just about swords, armour, fantasy and other fun stuff. And yeah I would check out some of his Knightswatch videos as well but I think the thing that did for me was the pointless drama, getting involved in politics over minute things and also his Elden Ring videos were awful and made my brain hurt. I do wish Nathan and the other members that have left luck though, I've got nothing bad to say about Nathan and good of him for putting his wife and himself first so I wish them luck in the future. As for Shad well if I was his friend I would offer him some advice like "take a break from social media, politics, spend time with your wife and kids. I'd also advise him to get a real job, go for a hike in the beautiful Australian countryside, listen to some classical music and opera, get a dog and just enjoy life to the fullest." It's like that Beatles song "We can work it out" Life is very short and there's no time, for fussing and fighting my friend. It's a fantastic song mate.

You know, I saw this video the day it came out, within the first hour, and I almost excitedly posted about it on the discord, but watched the video and saw it wasn't that interesting, so didn't bother haha.

I’ve never seen someone else so passionate about people not having shitty audio. It bothers me so much when the audio is bad. I was listening to a podcast made by Aimee Mann, an artist who I don’t know well but is successful enough for my dad to know her, and the audio was bad. Like girl, you’re a musician, why is your mic bad.

A blue yeti is more than good enough for a RU-vid voice over if you position your mic and choose your room and position in that room. What annoys me is RU-vidrs who get all anal about buying an expensive mic, thinking it will improve their shitty sound and then have no idea of positioning and mic technique. As said in the video, the internet has a hell of a lot of info. And no, don’t go to the ‘how to be a RU-vidr’ articles. They are often rubbish. Go to an audio engineering site and read about voice over work, live broadcast and recording voice.
