US Prog metal legends Shadow Gallery playing live in Athens, Greece during their first ever tour. Is that crowd surfing? in a Shadow Gallery concert?? you betcha!!!
im in the 2nd row in that crowd and i played in one of the opening bands for that gig. best live of my life by far even just seeing those guys live after having their songs on repeat for almost two decades at that point. never mind playing on the same stage...
\m/ I was there that night...what an insane concert! Everyone loved it, the crowd expressed their love in all possible ways, the band enjoyed every instance of this live performance. (Even the merchandise they had brought was epic: I still have a pin saying 'I saw Shadow Gallery live')
Shadow Gallery is one of he best bands out there, they deserve to play in huge stadiums tough they make small concerts, I wish I could see them live before I die! RIP Mike!
It makes me so happy to see this guys finally playing live. So much energy and joy.......I just can't help imagining Mike Baker in that stage......that would've been just perfect.

EPIC-SIZE SHOW! Congratulations to each and everyone in the band especially the coolest progster I've ever met,my friend Gary. Let those sawtooths shred!
Million thanks for this video, great shooting and quality!!! Unforgettable concert, this song was definitely one of the highlights. I would be very grateful if you also had and could upload "Questions At Hand".
Gary is fucking insane! Brendt is also incredible! Carl Cadden-James gets pissed off in 5:32 ...These musicians are pure awesomeness! This song is an anthem! Go Shadow Gallery!
@MetalLifeForce Logistics. All the members have jobs, mortgages, families etc. Most of them are also involved with other projects. So they never could put together the resources, or find the time to tour until '10.
Poor Mike Baker. It's a shame he never got to sing live in concert. May he RIP. At least Brian Ashland, also an excellent singer, is better than nothing.
Don't expect a DVD from the Eurpoean tour anytime soon...our sources from inside the band tell me that they aren't happy with the quality of the recording, especially the lighting at the venue for which there is no work-around. The band won't release anything that is below their quality standards. Go see them in Atlanta in September 2013 at Prog Power USA.. Rumor has it..most of TYRANNY is being rehearsed for the upcoming concert.
@luckyluke193 I had the lifetime opportunity to see them live 2 times in a row. To tell you the truth, i prefer them not rivalring DT, because look at their albums after SFAM. Almost all for the bucket. Even their last one made me fall asleep. SG put their best efforts in every work they have done, and not create such a mainstream fuss behind of their lyrics or artwork or all this crap DT make. SG concept albums are all masterpieces and will be classic. Besides
