Ggrrrr They really gonna make us wait til last ep for more juicy action. I can't wait though, hopefully le enemy gives us an entertaining fight at least. for now we see Rose Puke
I like how Cid doesnt actually feel bad for her, he's more annoyed that she passed out on him during his monologue. He must have been piecing that together for a while
@@LimitasiLeonson yeah no. I read the novel, his reaction during such a scene is even more far out and unattached to reality then you're seeing here. One of the reasons I can't vibe with this series.
Cid's plans never come into fruition, but whatever the outcome is, it always benefited his image and Shadow Garden's. I would assume that this making-Rose-a-Tyrant-then-dethroning-her plan, this would 100% backfire and would just make Rose fall in love with him more lol But what do I know, can LN readers spoil us?
@@Say0ceanas for now there is probably going to be a war between Oriana (supported by Shadow Garden) and Velgata (supported by Cult of Diabolos) in the next volume. Not much more is known for now.
@@Say0cean neither of them really. Alpha considers Rose to be her equal and sent 664 with 665 in order to assist Rose (as her subordinates), however she isn't officially a member of the organisation.
hes a psycopath. Basically has no emotions towards anyone or anything other than his own ego and fantasy. To him everyone in the world are just props, and he doesn't really care if they live or die.
I relate so hard to losing something important and that moment of realization where you go through 73 different stages of grief in like 30 seconds 😂 they did well with those facial expressions
Rose's feelings goes twisting and turning like a jet banking to high Gs. She is utterly confused, disgusted, ashamed and utterly blaming herself, by killing her father, betraying her people, betraying her organization, and tried to be wed to Perv when her mother was the hostage. Only to realize, that her mother IS the one poisoning her lovable father, even planning to kill her after the wedding is done. The emotions. Ho boy, she passed out. The hard truth indeed was too much.
I can't really blame her from passing out... that was too much for a person who had fallen trying to save what is remaining on her grasp, I guess thanks to Cid that she is barely hanging at her mental state.
@@assaulthetz Yeah, Rose’s mom is sleeping with the monster who brainwashed her father and then planning for Rose’s death. Not to mentioned the rest of the world doesn’t know the truth and are blaming Rose for their country instability.
It's not so much that he's dense as that is his character. I wanna be the edge lord blah blah blah. I couldn't finish the first season. Tsukimichi has my attention and it just got confirmed for a 3rd season so I'm hype for that
Shadow made a big miscalculation. Rose was never Tyrant material. She's far too soft-hearted for that. If anything she is an antihero and that's a bit of a stretch because she will have to mature a great deal for that to even happen
She kills badguys and do worse, but she saves her people. Legit Anti hero. Shades? They are too busy in the business and spying and hunting down the Diabolos cult. Not too much Anti-hero material but they are indeed an organization, Boss, Yakuza, Mafia-like underground society leaders.
Well when a soft-hearted person is pushed around enough, you'd be amazed at what kind of absolute terror they're capable of. There won't be any limits.
2:18 man now i can't unthink about that szenario playing out in Bleach with Aizen and the Hōgyoku like imagine him reaching inside Rukia's body to retrive the damn thing but comes out empty handed only for him to repeat it like 3 or 4 times with the thought "ok next time it surely will be there right? RIGHT!?" in his head while Ichigo and Renji are just watching this whole fiasco with the thought "what the fuck is he doing?"
I'm thinking of DBZ abridged after Gohan steals the dragon ball Vegeta hid 😂 "I'm gonna close my eyes and when I open them it's going to be right here-itsnothere. WHY ISNT IT HERE?!"
She will eventually. SPOILER V V V V V V V V V V V V V Shadow Garden will split into 2 factions like a great schism, errr maybe 3 if we count the neutral faction. 1. Alpha Faction a.k.a Conservative Faction who stay with their Status Quo as the servant to support Shadow's chuuni play 2. Zeta Faction a.k.a. Radical Faction / Zealot Faction / Shadow Cult Faction, who choose to separate from Alpha's Shadow Garden deeming Alpha is not suitable and her act is considered as a betrayal for doubting Cid during Cid becomes John Smith. She thinks that Cult can only be erased with Cult, so she worship Shadow as God, gathers some numbers and named member like Victoria starting make a new religion to worship Shadow as God. 3 (?). Beta & Delta faction, Neutral Faction / Simper Faction. They don't into Zeta's tantrum, nor they wish the civil war among them, they just want to keep close to Shadow wishing to get his coom and give birth as many of Cid's kids as possible until their eggs are empty
I really feel for Rose, imagine everything you knew is a lie, you killed your beloved father, your own mother gleefully awaiting the day to end you, and admits to poisoning your father, the betrayal, the heartbreak, the agony of the entire situation. If it was literally anyone else they would have either hung themselves or gone on a killing spree before offing themselves.
When you consider of all the people in the series, the fact that Rose's mother somehow is up there for one of the worst and scummiest among them is god damn impressive.
If gravity is already a mere suggestion, I wouldn't want to find out what else is just a suggestion, like the lethality of the sharp object that is my only form of enforcement. "Must've been the wind" is the smart guard's response in this case.
He literally had been pickpocketed in the Lawless City before (and pickpocketed the pickpocketers) and he would still think someone could steal from him. XD
Looking at the thumbnail before watching the episode, I thought Shadow force-fed Rose some messed up powerup and that caused her to go full yandere mode for Perv
I love the writing in this show, it is equal parts dark and hilarious. Rose has a normal human reaction to a high level of trauma and meanwhile Cid is just like... "c'mon its time to fuck shit up"(Rose passes out) "Ok maybe not, my bad..."
I like the guitar strings playing everytime Cid's telling something devious, like he's some traditional Spanish villain that's too charismatic to hate.
wow i just realized that cid is an actual psychopath thats dangerously convinced he is in a delusion he orchestrated himselfshees, blissfully unfased by the weight of his actions. hes so dissociated it wouldve been dangerous if he werent hell bent on being an antihero damn worst part is he has the power to do whatever he pleases with bo adverse consequences whatsoever sheesh
Anime's title if anime MC is Rose: My Mother's Boyfriend is My Ex-Fiance so I'm Going to Marry Him then Ruin the Marriage because There is Someone I Love
Remember episode 10 of season 1, Rose said "I've seen the real you, Cid. I know how very brave you are. I am quite certain that our path together will be a *thorny one.* No one will give us their blessing, or approve of our union. The most popular religion in this world is the Divine Teachings. It's a faith that worships the sacred precepts of the goddess Beatrix. But it is said that after the Goddess granted the legendary heroes her powers, they built up wealth from humble beginnings and married the princesses of great kingdoms. So I believe that at the end of *every thorny path, there awaits a blessed and happy future.* If you can make it through the Goddesses's Trial, I will be able to speak to *my father* of a brave young man. So let us follow this *thorny path and overcome its obstacles together, one step at a time. Thus our love will be bound ever more tightly."* Our poor senpai princess had such a "pure vision" of future hardships that the girl never expected all the garbage the Diablos Cult thrown at her with her homeland's political corruption, the death of her father, her birth mother's evil treachery, and so many other horrible stuff that she never imagine could happen yet ironically Cid's "love" for Rose helped a lot here 2:18
1:23 classic response of being exposed to NTR, Rose had the basic mentality of a "Disney princess" of wanting to seek "true love," yet the poor girl never had been prepared for the level of immorality her own birth mother had just showed her.
I like The Eminence in Shadow because it gives us a more unique take on the isekai mc who is instead just an egoist who wants to enjoy his fantasy of being an edgelord over actually caring about other people. It is actually pretty funny but I doubt many other MCs would like him. I mean both the good and well written ones like Rudeus, Kazuma, Subaru, etc. Of course that is if they find out his teue motives and mindset because otherwise he just seems like a cool guy saving people while living in the shadows even having rescued several victims of a cult.
