Here is the pinned comment: For anyone that once a more comprehensive walkthrough of the DLC that includes full walkthroughs on how to do all of what’s shown in this video, in addition to getting all Shadow Realm Blessings and Unique Legendary Items, you can check out my 4-part series for the DLC! Here is a link to the Part 1 Video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MGQjdnhtfOc.htmlsi=dolt4wumIF0vOdQx I will continue to update this comment as time goes on. Thanks for watching!
Leaving this here in case someone else experiences this and is confused. When trying to give the dragon priestess the concoction, she wasn't there when I waited until night time, & didn't appear when I tried fast traveling back. Waiting until morning & then night again fixed this for me though.
@@theSaysays radagon/elden beast are still the final boss of the game, so beating the final boss of the dlc has no effect on whether or not you can go to NG+. double check that you’ve done that & if you have then i’m not sure why you wouldn’t have the option
@@UpTopYuki yeah quest system in elden ring is trash tier. It punish player for free exploration and force you to play with a guide like a slave if you want to explore the game fully
@@Metrackkliterally all you have to do is talk to npcs at unmissable sites of grace. If you're blowing by npcs without talking to them, you probably don't care about quests anyway. It's almost impossible to mess up. Breaking the great rune just starts all their quests.
@@Based_investor I talked to npcs at sites of grace but just happened to go too far north and suddenly they were all gone. absolutely love this dlc but going in blind I missed practically all the quests
@@Based_investor "almost impossible to mess up" That is completely wrong. Nearly every NPC quest can be failed in several ways, and some of these include walking to undiscovered areas. By the way, these same quests require you to walk to undiscovered areas. Among other reasons, it is _incredibly_ easy to fail NPC quests; the basic opposite of "almost impossible."
@@Based_investor nah man, I actually enjoy how quests are done by fromsoftware but that invisible line at shadow is the worst punishment for doing what they want you to do >explore
Love this DLC, but these quests are not designed well. "Go explore! Oh, but if you walk to close to this castle or two feet past this point, quests break..." Quests moving forward after killing a boss, that makes sense. But don't punish the player for doing what you encourage them to do.
I agree. I feel like the map could’ve been created to guide you a little bit better. It literally took me getting to the final boss to realize that I skipped half the DLC and missed out on most of the quests. I genuinely thought I was checking every nook and cranny and that eventually I’ll be rerouted to the other side of the map but nope.
You’re the man bro, I’m a truck driver and spend most of my week on the road and it’s hard for me to really explore the game. You really save me so much time. I appriciate it.
Youre a truck driver? You must be the type that speeds and almost crashes into people trying to pass slower moving traffic. 😂 (I'm joking, dont hate. Lol)
Even for players that refuse to use summons or aren't using summons on a playthrough, I think Igon deserves to be summoned regardless, just to appreciate that guy and give him his glory against Bayle 😂
@@KennysGarlic I summoned him during my 2 first attempts while I was getting used to Bayle's moveset. His dialogue was fire and dude was overpowered; could have killed Bayle in those tries but I let myself die to kill him on my own about 7 tries later. Still, very glad I gave him a chance to speak Lmao
Ah yes, FromSoft and their very intricate quest design. If you don't give poo poo pee pee the stone of yabba dabba doo at exactly 10:48 on a rainy Thursday night, your quest is fked. I love FromSoft and own the games they have, but unless you have guides like this, you're screwed.
@@lu4737 might be a bit tedious, but what I did was fight a boss until I could beat them solo, then reload a back-save and beat them again with the NPCs.
You've gone above and beyond for this DLC. Thank you so so much. My friend is playing the DLC and wants to complete all quests but also wants to avoid spoilers. This more condensed video will allow myself to continuously refresh my knowledge on the quests without sitting through the 4 longer previous videos and assist him with that. Your previous videos were perfect for new players like I was a few days ago, but this is perfect for me now. You make the best guide videos I've ever seen.
An absolutely phenomenal video! You, Shatter, made my experience so much more enjoyable. My most memorable moments in this DLC couldn't have happened without your help, so thank you so much!
this video is a bloody masterpiece. my approach to ER has always been explore and i was rewarded with high scadu level but a broken rune before doing anything or talking to anyone. you have provided me the best possible walkthrough for ng+ thank you. PS Imbibe Nectar SIX times? who figured that out by just dying and dying. fromsoft is insane and i fucking love it!!
Thank you so much for the guide! Figuring out what to do with all the quests is the puzzling I hate the most in From games. Everything is covered, detailed, clear and succinct; the format is perfect. This helped a lot, much appreciated!
thanks for all the effort put into these 15 videos series, its a must for a new player like me. i can complete 1 video every weakend, so my entire game will take around 3 months i think, but doing all this content is a must for me! :)
Literally just summoned Ansbach, Thiollier, Jolan & Anna against a pre nerf Radahn, making it a 5 on 1 gank fight lmao. Wouldn't have been possible w/out this guide!
You can tell by the comments how many people have never played demon souls, dark souls, Bloodborne or sekiro! Missable is FS's middle name. Thats why there are mechanics like NG+, so that you can replay it and find stuff you missed, with an awesome guide like this one, so should you choose! This is my 3rd playthrough and im only cleaning up quests now. My first was on my ng+4, then i wrapped up my ng+7 and now im (almost) done my RL1 ng+ run. Im stuck at the npc fight before consort. Explore, miss shit, and play again! That's the formula!
thank you so much for making this video. As of typing this comment, I have just finished the DLC and its quests thanks to this video. I decided to do the side quests in NG+1 because I basically just ran through the whole game in NG+0 without doing much of the side quests because I wanted to go in blind for the DLC and not look much info up to not spoil myself much for the first go-around in the Realm of Shadow, of course this led to me missing a lot of the side quests or steps in between the quests. I then discovered this video and man was it a huuuuuuge help with not missing anything, again big thanks mr. Shatter lol
Only issue with that is I don’t have the raw video files to use anymore, so I’d have to re-record everything. But yes, perhaps it might be worth doing. I want to do a handful more standalone videos for the DLC first though, for people that prefer that.
@ItsShatter If you do it, please focus on new games as a priority. As that is more important. Yes a summed up main game guide for Elden Ring is nice, I'd argue that at this point, a lot of people don't need it. I wouldn't say it would be niche, but it's not strictly necessary in my opinion ofc.
Thank you for this shatter, Appreciate you, I'm actually on my 2nd DLC playthrough and doing some questline that i've missed since only 1 decision can be made.
Thank you shatter, you work really hard and your videos are so well made, you deserve much much more support and we all appreciate what you’ve done you us. Thank you shatter.
Excelent video. I followed it during my second playthrough of the DLC. Very clear and easy to follow. Sadly I missed a couple of questlines with 2 rewards on my first, blind, run, so I will have to play it a third time to get it all. Huge thanks for the guide!
Hey man, I just wanted to really thank you. All your guides (the one's in the Playlist) makes the game so much better, i first played the game blind, then on ng+ i played both game and dlc using your guide, it was amazing , i didn't know i missed a bunch of interesting quests . Really appreciate what you are doing here broda. Keep up the good work 🙏👍 Thou art my guiding grace
You can still complete most of the quests and get the rewards even if you do break the great rune just to put everyone's mind at ease. Obviously don't if you can but even if you did, follow this guide and you can recover quite nicely. Only thing I really missed out on was the cookbooks.
Pretty good guide. This guide took me 3 days. And on the 4th day I respec to defeat radahn. Thanks for the guide. I will follow this again when I make a new build
@@tldrafaik6144 I recommend the 4 part series/comprehensive version of this guide for a first playthrough. It will make sure you don’t miss/skip anything
I spoke to the dragon priestess then passed time until nightfall, she vanished. Where did she go? She returned when i passed time a second time. I then gave her the potion and so on. Did she change location?
Im extremely critical of overblown and overdrawn tutoring videos. I'm also critical of people who don't enough info. I hafta say this has got to be the best tutorial out there for a smooth transition into content
Their are 2 other Miquella cross sites you can tell ansbach about for extra lore. 1 is in the cerulion coast(southern shore grace) the second is just before you enter the underpass that leads to fort reprimand. A spirit spring can shoot you up.
I finished the DLC once, and managed to miss every single questline. I'm so bad at these. Everyone either dies or dissapears 🤣. This guide will help , thanks!
Things to note: the Irises of grace and occultation do carry over between playthrough. If you don’t interact with Thiolier until after beating the Putescent Knight, you can find him still find him at his original location afterwards and tell him of St Trina’s location. He will go down there and you can continue his quest from there.
It's awesome that you made this guide.I went exploring for hours and taking my time so I was lucky enough to do all the quest (without realizing it) got all of their armour in my first playthrough but my friend missed every sidequest, so kudos for the guide man!!!
FYI for anyone wanting more resistance to Holy Damage for the final fight... i suggest using the Crucible Tree set along with the Black Knight Shield (87 holy resistance making it the highest resisting shield i know of) also try using the Pearl Shield, Pearl Drake +3, and Golden Braid for the upmost holy resistance i can think of getting in this game that doesn't include other items like the Pickled Liver. hope you find this helpful and if you find something that can add to this let me know :)
At around level 175 I was able to start ng+ on my main and speed ran through to the last boss so I could get the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending and get my platinum! Took me just under 3 hours to get 2 great runes (Stormveil Castle big boss + Rennala) and get the medallion halves to take the lift! Don't sweat going back in ng+ when you're between level 150-200 it'll feel easier than the base game did lol
It’s ridiculous that some quests have the mapped marked like volcano manor. Why couldn’t they do that for the rest of the other quests. Watching a guide for this to get cool stuff really takes the immersion out of the game.
Hey man, you don’t have to do igons quest line so early, it was one of the last things I did in my first playthrough and I was able to receive all of the rewards for one of the choices. I just mention this because bayle was top 3 in difficulty for me so I waited until late in the playthrough to take him down. And I don’t think I’m alone in feeling this was. Anyway, just a small piece of input. Really appreciate all of the effort you put in for us. These guides are killer and I wouldn’t have gotten 80% of what I have without them.
I just wanted to say I did Thiollier’s Q backwards on my first playthrough as it was a completely blind experience. I killed Mesmer then went and found St. Trina while exploring. Then later I found Thiollier and just told him I found St. Trina in some cave by the coast and he was off to the cave. After that the steps repeat. You tell him the words, he invades you and that’s it.
I did one of the questlines after having to look it up. I understand about adventure and all of that but I had I not looked it up. I wouldn’t know where or what to do and I will likely do it again with this guide
I have a question. I saw that you can still get Ansbach armor set at the end. My question is: Can I side with Leda against Hornsent and then side with Ansbach against Leda so he can be alive at the end and get his scythe, incant and armor after he died at the end?
Didn't you leave out the third option regarding the fight between Leda and Hornsent? I am talking about doing nothing and moving on to kill the boss there in Shadow Castle. That is what I accidentally did since I didn't notice the signs on my first playthrough. It at least gives Leda a new dialogue but I am not sure about what it does to the rewards.
I used the other guides to 100% the base game prior to the DLC, now I am missing one summons due to choices for puppets and the DLC items… so excited to do a NG +# to finish up and get 100% DLC
Brother, your main game complete walkthrough was so good, very thorough. This seems half-assed. I get it's been a while since the main game came out but you were the reason I was able to enjoy it to the extent that I did. A complete walkthrough of the dlc in a sequential video would be great. This is good but seems ..... again a little half-assed. I'm trying to follow but it's like jump here jump there, you should already have discovered most of the map kind thing.... makes it hard for me to follow given my unquestioned following of your main game complete videos. Much love for doing your videos and for marshmallow, but this is a bit confusing for my old ass trying to get the most out of the game. Was hoping for a "hold my hand" guide to the dlc too.
If you like me and you went to the shadowkeep by accident just exploring here's a tip Moore's questline a lot of people are missing the cookbooks if you haven't told him to remain sad forever or the other option then you can still get all the forager cookbooks and the black liquid when you're in the queue and it's asking you to tell him to remain sad forever or the other option tell him you don't know this will basically be like I can't really make a decision go and collect all of the forager cookbooks and talk to that guy then go back and tell him to remain sad forever or the top option and continue to speak with him until he gives you the syrup as well as the 7th forger cookbook.
Please, make a video for the main game and dlc for the quests that have 2-3-4 rewards, so we know what quests we should do on NG+. Love your vids much love shatter
@@protonjones54 came to say this lol For those who missed it, the interaction goes as follows: *Ask about the silent monk* Leda: "Oh, that man is known as Dane. He's been in he service of Miquela the Kind longer than I. He might be solemn of cheer, but he is a fierce warrior nevertheless. There is no cause for concern, Dane's reluctance to speak to you is no fault of your own. We've been acquainted for quite some time but even I have yet to hear his voice. Perhaps one day..."
