It's too difficult for me to keep track of my fast attacks while counting opponent's too. Which should I prioritise?

@pavikichu1609 I usually count my opponents moves, and then just make sure I throw on good timing. When I wanna throw a move, and I have enough energy, I try to get the optimal timing. And from experience, and knowledge, I know how many moves that the opponent will get when I throw on different timings. Like if I throw a 2 turn move into a 3 turn move, I know that they get 1 fast attack, where if I throw on 1 3 turn move into a mon with a 2 turn move, I know he gets 2 fast moves through

@@marktaarning9639 Oh... But am I not supposed to start counting from the very beginning itself? Say if I am using a charjabug which uses a 4 turn move(volt switch) and the opponent has a dewgong which uses a 3 turn move(ice shard). Then if I start counting from the beginning, the most optimal times I can throw a charged attack would be after 2, 5, or 8 volt switches.. I obviously won't reach a discharge only after 2 volt switches, so my best option would be to throw after 5 volt switches, so I will have to focus on counting the volt switches cuz I don't wanna accidentally throw on alignment and let them sneak in an ice shard through. But if I'm gonna focus counting the volt switches, I won't be able to count the number of ice shards they make and would have no idea how much energy they might have. I'm facing similar situation a lot and usually would stop counting enemy's fast moves just so that I can throw on good timing, but putting myself at a disadvantage by not keeping track of their energy gain. What would do in such situations?

@pavikichu1609 In this situation I would focus on the dewgong, and realize that I can't throw before the debuff unless I throw on alignment. Because I want to throw on alignment, I count the dewgongs moves until it had thrown the five ice shards and usually throws the Icy Wind. After this I would throw my two Wolt Switches, and know from experience that if I throw the two Wolt Switches which is 8 turns, the dewgong can only throw 3 Ice Shards which is 9 turns. While doing this I would most likely focus on my own moves, but still be able to see the ice shards go through
