If it isn’t your jam well I guess that’s fine, just don’t go out of your way to say that it “disappointed” I’m genuinely curious to hear why you would think that, because Shadowbringers is my personal favorite. I think Endwalker might be better objectively, but I have my reasons for preferring Shadowbringers.

@@rachelkelley5930 my problem with it is the over antagonistic approach towards light They worshipped darkness knowing its just as evil as light can seem to them The ppl on that world cant realise it must be balanced So whenever they talked too highly of darkness and pretends the wol as wod while all we did is suck the lights inside us and still fought with the light We even saved their world in end with using light I understand if they want to think bringing night sky is a way of bringing darkness so we r wod But they over antagonised which led to some cringe moments ngl especially with the "night blessed" ppl Other than that it was a fine expansion still cant top heavensward for me I m gonna start endwalker tmrw

@@Khontis That moment was probably the one time I've regretted being a healer main (outside of raids lol). I'd always wondered how all the other Warriors out there felt when he gave them HIS axe to finish the fight

When that music kicks in. I re-watch it from time to time and without fail, it gets me.

It's probably the biggest chill in all gaming for me. I literally shouted out loud "let's go!"

Naw for me its when you realize how we must become the darkness to save the world Since i was small i always felt like i could use my darkness for good and seeing that here on my favorite franchise just brought chills to me

John Hyur literally went "Ok that's it you're dead."

And the White Gremlin gave it just a bit of an extra boost, too. 😂

@@PaladineAvenger1 I was less heartbroken by her death and more horrified by what was happening. Still, her demise _is_ saddening, especially with how kind she was in the moments leading up to it.

And then Holminster Switch happened

I had just started Stormblood when Shadowbringers dropped so a lot of the context of the beginning was lost to me and when I met the big Z I was like "OH! That's the guy from the trailer's beginning. Guess I know who the final boss is for Stormblood. Not surprising. It'll be fun" And THEN you do Royal Menagerie, and THEN you get the scene after and my mind was blown when I put two and two together to figure out the REAL thing with that scene.

not hating witcher 3 since i played that game myself for hours, but tbh witcher 3 story telling not that that good. at least towards the end story is really good, but in between tho mainly we just run around the world seeking for 1 girl and that's all(at least the main objective of the plot) haven't reached shadowbringers yet, but i will and can't wait

@@Gailardia1 I'm not much of a fan of the major story points in Shadowbringers but in my opinion it's still better than Witcher 3. As you said, we're more or less running around looking for our first fave girl with our chosen second favorite girl and somehow we subvert the end of the world somehow. In Shadowbringers you run around finding the guys you need to beat, have fun with old friends, make new friends and have a few shocks and awe along the way like always, and like Witcher. But there's more nuance than witcher- there's not just new discoveries like but unlike witcher there's small 'campfire moments' where everyone has chill moments talking about things, moments where you grow characters and reinforce resolve. Witcher sadly lacks most of that, it's like the growth Geralt and everyone makes is just an instant thing when the story goes "you need to suddenly have char growth" it poofs it into existance

@@Khontis Seat of Sacrifice is still the peak of Shadowbringers story to me. So good that I'm willing to tolerate all the slow filler parts, though I recognize they exist.

That's what Final Fantasy does to you, tbh. Love this series to death

Now, the question is: were the gremlin's words part of a vision he had in his delirium and were they in fact spoken by Emet-Selch first and foremost? Because I'm inclined to think that yes. These were in fact originally Emet-Selch's words.

Syrcus Tower being a major plot setting lends itself to the tune's use. If you remember, the whole Labyrinth of the Ancients raid tier uses music from FFIII for that reason.

Depends on how you look at it. You can also look at it from the perspective of the unsundered Ascians. "We've one chapter, still left to write" can refer to the Rejoinings. "Riding home" evokes their desire to go back to their age, where they were 'whole'. "Dying hope" because the WoL has put an end to a few Ascians already, most notably Lahabrea, one of the 3 unsundered. "our worlds end" clearly refers to a plural, so it can be both the Ascians world (the Final Days) and the different shards being rejoined (or the attempt to do so, as was with the First). Those parts are all included in "Who Brings Shadow" and "To The Edge", the themes for 2 certain important individuals. I'm not saying you're wrong mind you. It's just that this can be interpreted in so many ways, it's honestly amazing.

I’m pretty sure it’s intentionally vague to not spoil anything, and also to reasonably apply to many story beats. Major Endwalker and Shadowbringers spoilers: “One brings shadow, one brings light” in particular means quite a lot. It could be you and lahabrea, emet-selch and g’raha, emet-selch and you, zodiark and hydaelyn, with any number reasons. Hell, “at this, the world’s end, do we cast off tomorrow” could be referring to that final, infamous zone of Endwalker. “We,” after all, is plural.

Lyric Actually points to You and Elidibus fighting each other,only for your character to feel really bad at the end of that battle...But back in that time people did not know that Part reffered to Elidibus and you too the player character,that is also one of my most favorite parts of Shadowbringers when it's You(The Player) against Elidibus in a fight of clashing Ideals and both ideals are quite pure but one of the ideals was born from good intention turned painful sad and twisted and you had to stop it so both you and he (Elidibus) cannot suffer any longer for their duty...Anyways that part was really painful for me Poor Elidibus!... TT v TT but we had to put him out of his misery and suffering because of his duty,but in a way we kinda free Elidibus from his pain and burden (poor man could not take a break!... TT v TT) and taking up his burden onto ourselves.

considering the main rift of "One brings the shadow, one brings the light" is IN Endwalker's main theme Footfalls, yeah.

A theme already Bringed at the End of FFIII but Really SPOILER ALERT, Heavensward got a huge FFI Vibe for me, a simple party, going right in the unknown to defeat an evil (Thordan and Nidhogg), Stormblood sounded a lot like FFII with all the rebelion against the Empire who got destroyed first with a Raid on the HQ (Altair in FFII Rhalgr Statue in FFXIV) and after a trip on a far away land finally Bring the Empire out of his conquests (with a Villain who came back from the dead too) ShB Felled a lot like FFIII with many OST, The central place of the Crystal Tower the Duality Dark/Light who must be balanced because too much of one bring only Death and the Warriors of Darkness and Endwalker have a lot taken to FFIV even more since the 6.2 but I won't tell more Each Expac is a love letter to all the FF Games but with a focus on one in particular

Nah bro you’re good. Just know your limits and pull accordingly; queue times are so short for healers and so long for DPS that a few minutes don’t really put a dent in anything.

Maybe actually study up and try to be a decent tank, instead of just killing your party and going "oops lol" every time. It takes 5 seconds to read tooltips instead of wasting everybody's time because you didn't bother to learn what your tank stance is nor how to AOE mobs.
