"i hope you fight for it, like your brother" gets me every time. marsye supporting alec after her initial struggle with accepting his decision is so powerful.
I love this scene cause it shows how Maryse finally realizes all the pressure she put on Izzy & how she never really felt she was good enough in her mother's eyes. It's why I've always thought that Maryse was the more redeemable parent than Robert because she apologized for her faults & tried to be a better parent.
it's great to see them talking and being close like Clary and her mom in the show when Isabelle first told Clary about her mom and feeling a tiny bit jealous that Clary had a perfect mom while hers was always away all the time and in idris and was more politician she longed for that relationship the same if not a similar one that Clary had with her mom they really did amazing developing Maryse character as the show goes on she learned to take some more time for her family encouraged her daughter to fight for love and never give up and excepted Magnus like her own son everything about Maryse character as the show goes on is just amazing and I'm so sad that the show ended *Cries*
I love this scene between them, I watch it all the time, reminding me about the little things it shows. Like how those two didn’t get many scenes together, with just the two of them. Mother and daughter difficulties, mother telling daughter that love is still there after having been cheated on, Daughter telling mother her recent struggles that relates to drugs, and all together reminding us that we are all still human with these huge and heart wrenching impacts in our lives... And I just love how Maryse and Izzy have grown so much since season 1.❤️
Too bad we never got to see Isabelle and Robert having an argument about his affair. Isabelle and Robert always had a close relationship. She was the one who suffered the most after finding out his father was unfaithful.
I'm thinking that Izzy's mom is Latina and her dad is Italian because obviously emeraude who plays Izzy es latina and Matthew Daddario who play Alec is Italian descent
im glad all the BIG secrets are finally out izzy knows about the affair, mayrse knows about Izzy addiction, jace now knows Clary still has feelings for him and so does Simon , and Magnus told everyone at the meeting about body switching with Valentine
Me when I started to see this series: Maryse is by far the worst character ever. Me now: Maryse is wonderful and deserve someone much better than that Robert-bastard.
Im glad Maryse is changing her behavior towards Alec and Izzy she really pissed me off in s1. Almost as bad as Valentine but i still want to see her apologize to Magnus and treat him better like she starting too with Izzy and Luke
