I'd swap Sabine Green and Yellow, Green is almost tempo now with the Timely Wrecker 7 resource play, while Yellow is only going face all the time and has more tools for boosted attack in the face, with Surprise Strike and Blaster
I agree Rey red is most likely a better deck than Rey blue, but in my opinion Rey red is just an inferior version of Han2 blue, while Rey blue is its own thing. If you consider Rey red to be as good as Han2 blue then you can consider anything I say for Han2 blue to be true for Rey red too, those 2 decks play very similar cards and behave very similarly.
It definitely contributed! But there are few other people who have been trying daimyo blue and rey green in the past with various success. I even built my first daimyo Blue before the release of set 2 ;).
He’s a lot of fun to play, hoping with more time and success he’ll become more popular. I feel like I’m getting much better piloting him as the weeks have gone on
Rey green is very similar to Boba2 blue , I those decks are very underplayed. They are quite powerful if built correctly. I 'll show a list soon enough :)
Can you share what you feel Cad Red's major weaknesses are? It's what I'm leaning towards playing at a PQ and I haven't had any majorly tough matchups after a handful of events/karabast
Cad Red lost in the finals to Boba ECL 0-2 at one of my local store showdowns. As Wosho said, Armor completely neutered Cad's ability, and Boba pushed out bigger, scarier units than Cad to own the board the whole game.
Qi'ra has a major weakness and boba green not?Literally all hard control decks and qira are very favored against boba green.Same with boba yellow, qira is more favored against boba yellow than any deck is against qira. You also mentioned qira being bad against hard control.Blue green black decks like krennic were good against hard control in set 1 i dont see why they are not now.Even 1 relentless may be enough to win in this matchup.
I disagree with Krennic green having good Mu vs hard control in set 1, when two control deck fight each other the most controly one has the advantage. Bare in mind I am talking here about the new school boba green that is very value focused. I feel Boba Green is better against control compared to Qira because it's a resilient deck that keeps its ability to be aggressive. I think Qira has a much harder time to turn the aggression on. Besides Boba has access to a number of tool which are extremely strong against control like bazine and tie phantom. Relentless is excellent but far from being enough on its own to win the game, especially if the control deck is ahead. The tricky thing I found with Qira is that you can build the deck to beat control but not without giving up the aggro MU. There are many Qira decks with their strenghts and weaknesses and I never seen a Qira deck that can beat both hard control and aggro. Maybe there is one.
I feel lke Qi'ra is really weak agains't hard control AND Han blue and his discard plan, which is one of the most popular deck in the format. It's a little bit like Palpatine vs Sabine, if you'r opponent don't potato draw hard you can't win or you have to build your deck around this MU and make it weaker agains't everything else.
@@Gounaki-jd5kw Qira is not weak at all against hard control.Especially if you sideboard in more relentless and palps return its impossible for them to win.The young han blue mu is close to 50/50 if you know the lines.Whenever you ramp to a gideon ambush youre pretty ok.Pershing can help with the discard too.
@@CaptainKiwiii You dont have to play a unit turn 1.If you use your cards to kill their early threats like k2-so then they pillage you and its over.If you ramp turn 2 and then ambush a unit with ecl(if you play it) they wont pillage you. Then you can continue with vaders and snokes etc and they will have to respond to them until you reach the star destroyers and win.You will take some damage but not enough to kill you. Also look to kill han when they are on 6 resources so that they dont play luke this turn.
Yeah set 2 has killed the game for me as of now. More boba and Sabine and a Han deck that’s a copy of Rey, or a Qira that’s a copy of Krennic. Good thing we have 38 leaders right
