Y'all should be thanking dude on the right, he's the only one that can catch any bars that arent face value. If he has a bar that you need background info on to understand, y'all would miss it everytime. props to dude on the right.
I felt dude on right's frustration when the other dudes didn't catch the bars.. they add real world events to their bars, it's a whole different level of rap
Yo me and my partners been saying it for years. You but black men in a room and secret and we all admit EM the 🐐. Get you a blunt or a drank and sit and listen to what EM be saying. He is clearly past alot of people on this planet
the one one the right of the screen? I seriously hope you sre not referring to hi m because he said THE SON OF SAM WAS A CULT & he was sure of it (he saw a documentary about it!!??)😂🤣
They are young and finding out what real hip hop look like. They have been influenced by all this new garbage. Man’s on the right is getting into it, mans on the left seem he just happy to be on.
DJ Premier is one of the indisputable living legends of hip hop. He was 1/2 of Gang Starr and has produced countless classics for many different rappers. One ya'll might like on a related note to this video is Royce da 5'9'' - Boom.
Yelawolf is the only white boy that Em signed and he never fell off! lol He’s a really good rapper. Also Kxng Crooked aka Crooked I is amaaazing. Super underrated. He’s my fav all time.
The bar Royce dropped about Joe beating his wife is what Eminem was referencing in Fall when he said, "The closest thing he's had to hits is smacking b*tches."
But yeah there's a lot deeper bars they're not catching... Each guy has an overall topic, their whole rhyming formula stays within arm length of that topic... These BET Ciphers were legendary!!
Bruh I had tickets with my boys and my girlfriend to the chronic concert, mom found my weed stash and didn’t let me go to the concert. Everyone else went and another dude took my spot. Apparently he also took my girl because we broke up that week 😂😂😂 on top of that I’ve been hearing how legendary that concert was for the past 20 years fml.
@@lwhite2152 all 3 albums were fireee. If it was about money to him then you'd be right... But it's about the art and you are speaking from true ignorance. Listen to the blacksheep album and you can let the whole shit play. Dont miss out on great music just because you were too lazy to give it a chance
Yelawolf is actually still doing really well. He's no longer with shady records but he has newer music out. Still going on tour. Saw him a couple years in concert. It was LIT!
@@TheTruthWholeTruthNothingButTh nah yelawolf just wanted to be independent. He wasn't really going anywhere under shady records and he wanted to make different types of music. That's about all I know
The part at 18:38 when he asked did they hear that, and dude said nah I didn't get to hear it because ya'll we're yelling! 😂🤣😂🤣 Love these reaction videos! 👍🏽💯
this is one of the greatest cyphers ever and anyone who understood what was going on at the time and listened to this understood it was a masterpiece. the dude on the right heard caught a lot of the intricacies and that's why he was blown away. these guys went off on this ish.
Em doesn't look anywhere when he's rapping. He's reading the shit in his brain, he's not seeing what is in front of him when he's in the zone, watch his eyes
Dude on the left - all bars over his head Dude on the right - catching all da bars Dude at the centre - Amazing vibe. Catching most bars. Love your videos guys, keep them coming.
Guy on left was annoyed by guy in center so much that he probably couldn't focus on shit. He distracted me so much I quit watching it. Center dude Seems like a cool dude but has too high pitched of a voice (when excited), gets overly excited to the point you can't understand him, speaks over the other two, and is annoying as fuck in this video.
Lmao yeah I thought for sure they would catch that one like wtf….Dude on the right caught the simple bars but still a lot went over his head too, the other two dudes are just listening to the flows and have absolutely no clue what’s even being said 😂 Kind of disappointing….
Bro at the right hand side is genuine catching all those bars and references. Thank you is all I want to say as so many people couldn't catch it. *Respect*
It's popular to hate Budden these days because he's made himself a rap villain but don't sleep, Joe got bars for days. Dude had one of the strongest pens in the game back in the Mood Muzik and early Slaughterhouse days. I'd recommend Dumb Out specifically but really anything from Mood Muzik 1, 2, or 3 if you want to see what Budden was actually about before he turned podcaster/troll.
its what makes him such a good villain though. its not a good villain if they can't talk the talk and walk the walk, right? and makes you hate him more because hes actually really good. and also why he got a response and Nick didn't lmao
I agree budden can really rap but he’s not just a rap villain. Joe just not a good dude lol. It’s hard to say that without knowing him personally but all you gotta do is look at every single relationship he’s had which is now ruined because of joe himself. Not talking females, he always gotta do something that rubs people/friends the wrong way. I don’t even think it’s necessarily on purpose he’s just a narcissist. Fire rapper tho no doubt about that. And he’s a funny ass dude too but he always takes that dark turn where he starts wildin disrespecting people he supposedly loves.
@@troyperry411 You're definitely not wrong, Joe has burned damn near every bridge he ever built up in the industry. I try not to hold that against him as a person, though, because he also very clearly has some mental health issues (both undiagnosed and diagnosed but untreated.) Joe seems like a pretty genuine and good dude overall but he's got some issues I feel like he's never really properly dealt with and it results in this cycle where he makes friends and starts to make headway in his career and the just spirals and flushes it all, alienating and pissing off everyone in the process. It happened with Def Jam and then again with Shady Records. He talks a lot about being his own worst enemy in his songs but yet still doesn't seem to take steps to fix it or get help.
Damn, Royce caught a couple of assault charges on his girlssince being famous but it was crazy how Royce blew it up to the world while standing right next to Eminem
y’all energy mad dope man this was one of my fav things to watch i remember watching the bet awards when this first came out. even then the energy was different. cool coming back to appreciate it 10+ years later
It warms my heart to see y’all younger gens getting the culture and why the “so called” old heads like me are so passionate about these artists. I have a son y’all’s age (414camm, go check him out)-but guess what, I don’t consider myself old like y’all probably would, lol, and I’m a female who appreciates tf outta Rap N Hip-hop (all music really) but especially HIP HOP. Like we used to say back then, y’all have been gettn schooled in these last several videos and I’m ABSOLUTELY here for it. Thank you! I’m definitely following. Definitely now a fan of y’all now also. I love to see y’all in my notifications; I’m here for it!
Man you guys are funny AF. The other two whenever asked if they caught a bar my guys always hit a NO😂😂😂😂 Very cool stuff guys keep doing your thing bros. Honestly very honest and cool reactions🔥💪👍
You hafta always up on current events (back then Casey Anthony was current) to get Eminem…he is TUNED INTO EVERYTHING!!!! Rap, world events, politics, pop culture, etc. he’s been studied by professors as a genius, they do college classes on his music
One of the greatest aspects of ‘Em and one reason why so many don’t want no part of him is his bars are real…he references real things that happened…he doesn’t just make stuff up to make it work…he is real on many levels.
I love watching this. I was vibing to this shit when it was coming out and noooooobody was interesting in listening to it. Fast forward a decade and this still holds up, appreciated after its time.
I rarely comment when im watching this stuff cos i like to keep my thoughts to myself but this is like the 50th time I’m listening to this cypher and it just dawned on me that when joe said “i’m not watching the throne, I’m sabotaging it”, HE REALLY WAS Doing that! Damn….
I’m just glad y’all doin y’all homework… a lot of fans could care less! THAT is what takes you out of the fan club and makes you a HopHead! Keep digging young men!
Eminem said it : "This is like a satanic cult, slaughtering all the GOATS." Crooked I verse was fireeee. Please react to Eminem's song I Will (feat. KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9" & Joell Ortiz) from his album Music To be Murdered By.
Preemo ( DJ Premier ) is the DJ For Gang starr , and one of the top 5 producers and beat makers in hip - hop history . Preemo has made and produced hundreds if not more hit records as well as being one of the DJ's on The Five Deadly Venoms of Brooklyn , which is considered the best mix tape of all time and where the beat for this cypher is from.
Notice how he touches upon each subject he brings up in these opening bars Lyrical: Everyone on the cypher killed it Miracle: “gon need a priest”, Holy Water Spiritual: “When I’m gone will he be mourned?” Individual Criminal: Casey Anthony, Mike Vick, Posdnuos Subliminal: The whole verse Swimming pool: Tonsil pool
When you didn’t know who Yelawolf was I searched to see if you had done Best Friend. Doesn’t look like it. BEST FRIEND SHOULD BE YOUR NEXT REACTION! EM’s best verse ever, no cap.
Hahaha 😆. This was so entertaining. Thank you! I'm old, so I'm gonna say, y'all gotta listen to more Em. His whole discography contains a history lesson. You'll learn all about hip hop, those who came before AND real life events that will make you google constantly 😂lolol. Don't worry about catching all the bars. I'm sitting here 20 years later still catching stuff I missed off of his earlier albums 😂
So true!! 😂 It’s impossible to catch all of Em’s bars they are so complex I swear every time I listen to one of Em’s songs even When I’ve heard it 50 times I still catch something new I didn’t catch before almost every time 😂 It’s insane there is nobody even close to his level and anyone who disagrees with that just doesn’t fully understand his lyrics and the shit he says
You guys are becoming my favorite reaction channel- up there with Stevie Knight, Knox hill, and nolife. Keep up the great work! Y’all should check out Shady Cypher 15. Em went harder on that than he went on this- spits for like 6-7 mins straight bars
When Crooked said, "Notorious, Pun, and L get a 'Big' picture"...That bar went above your heads, just as many bars did. Those are fallen rap-game legends and lyricists. And yeah you would know less about them, I understand, because of your age. Also, when Em said "You're 'bout to see peace destroyed, it'll never be restored. When I unleash these beastly hordes on your CD stores.." He was talking about the Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf...signed under Shady Records
Not to mention that big, pun and L bar is capped off with the big picture working as a double entendre, being that they all have big in their rap name l (notorious big, big pun, big L) and it being the name of big L's 2nd and final album. I still remember the crowd having almost no reaction to Joe's bars and I'm sitting there like ya need to get the sugar daddy out ya ear, he barring it up
MY DUDE ON MY RIGHT YOUR LEFT IS CATCHING ALMOST EVERYTHING, HE RIGHT YA'LL OTHER DUDES NEED TO EDUCATE YOURSELF, READ THE NEWS ,STAY UP TO DATE ON CURRENT EVENTS, ETC OTHERWISE YA'LL GONNA CONTINUE TO MISS EVERYTHING, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO TOP LYRICISTS LIKE ROYCE AND EM 💪💪🔥🔥
No disrespect but my man on the right seem to be most intelligent one in the fam LOL. He's the only one who knows names, definitions, people refences, other genres of music and the only one that seems to catch the bars LOL. That being said I truly enjoy watching the joy of you guys discovering classic music from hip hop, other music genres (my favorite was seeing the joy and surprise of realizing Living Color was an all Black band) and watching some of the legends play ball. Keep having open minds and enjoying the journey!
I’m glad y’all reacted to this. One of my favorite cyphers & performances from Slaughterhouse. Y’all should check our Royce Da 5’9’s “L.A. LEAKERS” freestyle. And that King Los freestyle too.
good god it's weird seeing people only 10-15 years younger than me not knowing who amy winehouse is, or who DJ FUCKING PREMIER is, or are ask "who is eddie." what a weird future we're living in. and these are hip-hop heads, even. fuck man. i genuinely have little hope for the future of complex lyrics being understood. that being said, respect to everyone in this video, love these reactions. especially the guy on the bottom right, he's my fucking man. love you dawg, you've been saving ALL of these videos. good shit, bro.
