Marlon Thomas Jr .....I know. I think I like it even better than top fuel, and DEFINITELY better than boring Pro Stock. NHRA needs to showcase Pro Mods more. But then again, part of me likes that it still has a little bit of a non-mainstream, underground feel. I'm tired of huge corporate sponsors that buy titles. I like when the small guys build these machines just cuz they love it so much.
Several times these guys tried to "melt Down" the other guy, and it looked like it failed each time. One time the starter even sent the other guy because the other was raking waaaaay to long to stage. I hate cheaters, and the usually get what they deserve.
John Howe burn down, not melt down . And it isn't to hurt the other guys motor, it's a mind game for reaction time. But some of it is the guy having problems before staging
