Q: what size tires are you running. A plus size tire 2.5"-3" will give you the ability to air down some and gain loads of traction along with some stability. Im a larger rider and have 4in on my fatbike bike packing rig and 2.35 on the new bike. Soon to be replaced with a 2.8" .

Me and Annette hiked in there last April and there was a mom and her teenage kids with a boom box that was sleeping in it so we went over near the well and hung our hammocks up there. It was hot and buggy already but we had our bugtamers on. Also had a few possums wake us up walking thru the palmettos, I saw em with my thermal scope. The tropical setting is cool back there on the FT.

It's definitely tropical! The mosquitoes were bad sometimes but after the smoky fire, problem solved!

@@ReWyldOutdoors And when your sweating, bug spray get diluted and ineffective. Look into the pricey but effective Shannon's Bug Tamer. When it's hot you can wet it and really cool you down. Thermocells are nice but take a while to work and do nothing while walking or in the wind and do not deter knats.

Great video..I use the small rig clamp for my camera...I can clamp it to my bars..forks etc

Awesome vid!... Hang in there brother you got that weight loss...I know you've heard everything..but I know first hand how hard it is bud...all I can encourage is low carbs ..no sugar... And walking ..the simplest thing will work...no equipment ...just walk brother..and intermediate fasting ...nothing until 12 pm and 6 pm ...early to bed helps too ! Billy

Well done for starting the diet and exercise brother. I was 49 and training 7 days a week, not realising that the artery next to my heart was blocking up quiet a bit. If I'd had known, id have dropped my weight down lowrr instead of getting bigger. Cycling will get you burning callories...that and improving your diet...youll soon start to lose it. Great bit of time out and well spotted with the snake. Here in England, we only get the rare Common Adder and grass snakes. The Adder bite is more like a bee sting. And Armadillos...we occasionally get badgers, plenty of foxes and deer

The trail is good! Only got soft in a couple of spots, but it worked out ok! Definitely bring bug spray and be watchful for snakes! Lol Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much! The hammock is Hanging High Hammocks REM. and that tarp was actually a ground cloth I started using as a light weight option. I believe it's a 7x8 Gold Armor
