Shaky was great. Not an instrument you'd hear in a rock n roll song but I love the sound of the accordion. I still have his greatest hits album in my record collection. I was in my first year in high school when this was released and I remember it well. Great memories as a teen in the 80's and I wish I could go back and do it all again but sadly those days will never return. Thank you for the clip.

This is yet another masterpiece from Shakin' Stevens, one of several singles I bought, the words are so simple it just can't fail to be powerful, the music is pure joy and Shaky's vocals are always fantastic.
my dad grew up on 51 marcross road, ely. just down the street from where shakin stevens lived. he told me that he can remember him stepping out of a limo dressed as elvis, from when he was an impersonator. not far down the road lived ryan giggs also. i now live not far from where tom jones grew up in treforrest, and my father has met him also, when he returned to treforist. and it was broadcasted on television . to me, the story of him living by shaking stevens is one of the coolest things my father has ever told me.
Shakin Stevens is got to be the best Rock N Roll artist of all time his voice is amazing his vocal range is unbelievable a legend in his time the best Rockers of the 80's to think he's still going today and doing very well Shaky you are a legend if only he was around in the 50's and 60's and released these songs he could of been bigger then Elvis or just as big worldwide all though to be the biggest selling single artist of Europe is a very nice achievement
