I think he’ll fight him differently though because of the size difference. Edwin’s got long reach and is a big dude overall for the weight class. I think Shakur will fight him closer to how he did Conceicao but with more caution. Maybe box him early and then start to walk him down after 6 rounds or so

I love my mexican fighters full on warriors, all heart and power. But its almost always the same story. They get out classed and out maneuvered by a real skilled fighter at the top fights and elite levels.

Valdez is an easy money for Shakur because he doesn't wave his head. When ever Shakur was cornered, he embraces Valdez and Shakur is a southpaw, an advantage. Holding shouldn't be a part of boxing. This is the only sport that doesn't express by its name, boxing.

Valdez is easy to figure out… he only has 1 guard. Rarely sets anything up. Comes in trying to tank punches then throw hooks once he closes the distance while also never cutting shakur off. Shakur can’t handle up close pressure
