The crying is a reflection of Mayweather Jr when he lost to Bulgaria in the Olympic semifinal (a controversial decision where even the Ref thought MAyweather won).
Once he said silver medal he couldn't stand hearing that 🤣🤣 but aye all respect for his competitiveness and now he's doing great in pro because of this.
@@yaboy4923 u ever watched the contender or ultimate fighter show? Almost all them dudes end up crying after they lose. U gotta remember how these dudes put their entire life into this most have no backup plan. U have no clue how that's gonna feel when it goes down the drain.
Mayweather was very emotional too when he got robbed/lost in the Olympic trials…that’s called being passionate about something you love and care about…#respect 🤜🏿
There’s a difference …Floyd was robbed in the Olympics and it was one of the biggest robberies alongside with Roy jones jr….this beaver lost becasue the other guy was flat out better and beat him
You walk in here i know you wanted that gold medal. I know you trained your whole life for this moment never to happen again in another Olympics for the gold medal. You wanted gold so bad you missed all ur favorite TV shows and skipped some dates. Even went on a diet and ran more miles than Moses. Jesus u wanted that gold medal badly. But u still walk away with the silver medal which is an incredible accomplishment, i mean not as incredible as gold but still kind of incredible i guess. Can you take any cry i mean pride in that?
He said he felt like the Cuban won. No excuse. Damn Steven is the truth. Hope he stay like this, he’s all about the win 🥇 and not the participation gift. There’s nothing like the love of the game, it truly hurts when you lose. But I bet the winner won’t run it back now. Two different careers
U can see Shakurs face contort when the interviewer even mentions the Silver medal. He doesnt wanna hear that shit. He hates it. Truly disgusts him its ripping him apart. Thats the signs of a real champ
Would have been funny if the interviewer genuinely felt bad for Shakur and started patting him on the back when he was crying like “there there” and Shakur immediately steals off on him
Poor kid breaks down in complete agony and shame the moment the interviewer utters “silver”. Man its so hard being a great. U put so much pressure on yourself and take things so differently. The interviewer doesnt even understand its insulting to Shakur to even ask about pride and silver in the same breath. Ricky Bobby said it best...
@ItheWorst its different when ur robbed and when u are legitimately beaten. Shakur wasn't really robbed here and he knew in his heart he could've done more. In Roy's case he knew he beat the guy and he was the better man. nothing to cry about there it wasnt his fault and he knew that. Shakur knew it was his own fault in his case thats the difference. these guys dont care so much about the medals an that. its deeper. The fact Shakur cries that he got silver tells me he's not some mentally weak kid. any other kid would brag and boast about it as if they won gold.
@ItheWorst i bet Wilfredo Benítez cried he's a human being i get what your saying society makes bitches outta men but again that doesn't make you a bitch especially at that age he said he was hurt so he was expressing his feelings.
Need to learn to lose before you can truly win. Loses come in all forms in life, we lose the people we love and other things to. So to win you have to lose in life a little.
People are crazy giving him props for this! This is boxing! He's crying! There's no crying in boxing ok. My coaches used to scream it at me cause I started little but he's way too old and on television in front of the world.
