Eh...the show is called Shameless. It used to be truthful to the name, should not be a surprise that people actually liked it that way:-D And honestly, it is tiring how 99% of homosexual relationships in fiction are depicted as these overly romantic super fluffy nonsense, full of tears and stuff. How 99% of gays are depicted as weak defensless victims of something. It was really damn lot refreshing to see one pair, at least one single damn pair of homosexuals, who were not "victims" of this stereotype:-D Who had flaws, who were cocky, who made bad choices and who were not feminine in any possible way:-D So yeah, a lot of us actually miss the "sadomasochist butt fucking after slamming some beers", as you put it:-D

He's such an interesting character with his messed up backstory and him changing into a person who learned he could actually show emotion from time to time...would be interesting to see him more. Not just with Ian but with the other characters as well. He could be like a brother to Carl and there were some moments were He, Fiona and Lip understood each other due to Ian's diagnosis

The Tek I think she meant that when they were specifically talking about season 5 they didn't mention Ian's story line. When basically that was the shows whole focal point that season and instead they showed clips of Fiona/men and Frank's potent beer without mentioning Ian having bipolar disorder.

Honestly, Mickey, Ian, Carl, Sheila,Monica & Fiona deserve the most appreciation Idk if u would like that I put Monica on list, I mean, she doesn't appear very often but how she portrays bipolar is great I am not saying others are shitty actors but main characters are always the one who came first and with storylines

Yes, all these characters need to return... For me especially Micky. I love Noel Fisher. He is such a great actor and added real spice to the show. And, of course, he and Ian were great together. Yes they were dysfunctional at times but that's why the show is called Shameless. We don't expect any perfection with the characters. We expect struggles. :0)
