Most card houses would make the declared bet of $300 stand. I think Francisco didn't complain because he wanted the $3000 bet.

Verbal bets are binding at every casino I've ever played at ;but I don't expect anything proper at HCL when it comes to poker.

Doesn't matter if is a private game. By letting the player change the bet size once he announced the bet, you are opening a can of worm. Francisco accepts the new bet because he thought he trip K is good. Had he not had trip K and only 2nd best pair, he would think differently. I just had a dealer who enforce an accidental reraise because I had a green chip in my $15 call. I even tell the dealer, I meant call before the other players opens up his cards. I am OK with the rule that, an action or verbal action is enforced. It is the nature of the game.

Yeah people need chill. He put in 3k, and quickly corrected himself after saying $300.

He tossed a $5k SINGLE chip in and said $300 and then said it again. Rewatch the clip. Bet is $300. Communication error is not a rule in poker and IF that is going to be accepted, you open up the entire vocabulary to a communication error ANYTIME one chooses.

@@TLifeDailyVlogs i think it was a $25 chip, looks purple. Also, it was reconfirmed with the dealer. So actually, the dealer should be saying $300 should stand if anything.

@@KobeSamy yeah good point haha. It’s Hustler anyways it’s not like they stick to standard rules. The players seem to make the rules more than anything. Not that I can afford to play this game but certain things about it just make me think it’s a little bit crooked.
