They are great sandals and made great progress the last years ,not the toe post though, right now is a simple horrible peace of strap with a plug whereas before it was a nicer more elaborated toe post
Thanks for watching! That’s interesting that you like the old toe post. By the time I found them the HT had the current strap and to post. Do you feel like the old one was more sturdy?
I run the exact same sandals with the power strap and Iove them too. They're even great for some easy climbing like via ferratas. Thinking about getting the Ibex too for the rough peaky hikes.
That’s great to know. I feel like the Ibex with its aggressive outsole powers strap and maybe the Achilles armor(haven’t tried this yet) would be a great combination for rocky technical runs
@@Jackalopeadventureclub I think so too! I did some 50k mountain runs in VFFs so far and with all the gravel paths and some technical running parts the bottom of my feet started to burn after about 35k. The Ibex just look like the perfect amount of protection for these kinds of runs with more traction and flexibility than the mountain goats.
Any plans of trying the numa version? Im strongly considering picking up a pair of these. I have chargers and warriors and i just find the warriors to be too slappy and thin for the concrete surfaces I'm on. These seem like a good middle ground that could hold up to moderate hiking too hopefully. I love the chargers morflex sole, but its lacking in grip off road and less durable.
Hey man, cheers for showing me the playlist. You've sold me on these over the regular warriors but I can't get a power strap in my area, are they still alright to run with without them?
Thank you for watching! I am happy to help. I just took mine out today after not wearing them for a while due to testing other sandals. They worked great and felt good. I do have to adjust my straps though haha. Power straps are definitely not a necessity, but can be nice in technical terrain! A lot of the sandal brands offer some kind of extra strap option but normal I run my sandals with out them. Hope that helps ease your worries!
