Definitely he looks very fit for his age and I am very happy to note he is a person with lot of respect for family, and has such a positive and gracious outlook on Life. He has blessings of his Mothers and Father. Very decent human beings they all are. For such a huge Legacy, they have maintained such simplicity. This shows how advanced they are spiritually!
Great son of Great father, resembles his biological mother, well articulated who authored Book and a computer savy, down to earth person, deeply impressed with his attitude and his second mother's interview...
I started to see the interview & couldn't stop myself to the end. Never seen Aditya Raj Kapoor before & I am very much pleased to know about him through this interview. He is not that fake generation of RK's where they take pride of hum to Kapoor hai on & off & do politics. Aditya ji is a very humble , wise ,pure gentleman . Thanks for the interview.
The last question about who was the best of the three brothers- good to hear aditya speak about shashi kapoor here. By far super talented- shashi kapoor is one of the most underrated actors of those times. Watch kala pathar, kabhie kabhie silsila or even deewaar now and you will notice. In a film like abhinetri where he plays second fiddle to Hema he is simply brilliant. And the kind of films he produced- junoon, vijeta, kalyug. Hats off to him.
Fully agree with you! The films produced by Shashi ji were really good, even classic! He also contributed to theatre by setting up Prithvi Theatre fr drama! He produced some films just fr d sake of art and had a big loss.
You've summed him up so well. It's incredible that the son of a famous and very sought after yester year Hindi film star (RIP) actually exudes such an aura of simplicity, clear headed logic and without airs and graces or a sense of entitlement. A stellar interview indeed.
Just saying, but Rishi was more of a natural actor that exuded oodles of charm and has left a lasting impression of his charisma in my mind. Ranbir may be a talented actor who's garnered lots of fans in the media and the audience, but there are others, dare I say equally or more talented than him, eg Ayushman Khuranna, Rajkumar Rao. No disrespect to Ranbir at all, though. Besides, audiences also like good looking actors on the silver screen - Kartik Aryan, Sidharth Malhotra, etc. It's a different ball game nowadays when judging success for new gen actors, but I can't help still hankering after those golden era stars like Shammi Kapoor, Dev Anand, Jeetendra, Shashi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Rajendra Kumar, Sunil Dutt, etc - and to be fair the evergreen music of that time which are firmly and forever etched in my mind
@@rags-gamingandmore4714 It looks like we actually agree but in India, Ranbir was/is highly celebrated by their media as a very talented actor (agree he can act) but I personally, don't enjoy watching him on the silver screen at all. Ranveer Singh is another celebrated actor in India that I don't enjoy watching on the big screen but he too can act...they're just not the actors who'll entice me to go to Hindi movies when their new films are released and I mean NO disrespect to either of these guys but India just loves them and that's fine - they're the darlings of India audiences and their media. I wish them well. I would put Akshay Kumar in this category too.
Most enjoyable time listening to them both. Brought back memories because I had spent a lot of my childhood in Prithvi Theatres. My mother was Zohra Segal who was an actor and a dance director at Prithvi Theatres. Lovly time spent! Thank you 😊
While i was growing up in Tanaganyka, now Tanzania, I used to listen on the radio shammi Kapoor films like Ujala, Tum sa Nahi Dekha songs, They were ever so popular. But when i moved to India in 1961 and as our ship docked at Bombay, I could hear loud and clear Junglee songs. Coming out of customs and hiring rickshawalla to go to Khetwadi I could only see street after street hoardings of Junglee. Posters of Junglee on Lamp posts. The film was a rage and the Junglee song became a cult. Since then I became a big fan of Shammi Kapoor. That was a golden age of silver screen.
Shammi style is unparalleled and unmatchable.. raffi sahib songs made shammi g immortal.. many of his songs i copy in my daily life proceedings... V good interview.. i wish his son was an actor
All three Kapoor brothers were unique in their acting methods so do their sons (Adit's cousins). Should Aditya had become an actor ', I would only go to see him because he is the son of two of the biggest and iconic actors, Shammi and Gita and I'll try to work out in my mind who is Aditya really like, His Mom or his Dad. and fail to recognise him as an idividual so you see Aditya had to fit two giant pairs of shoes that nobody in the industry can fit. I admire Aditya to have chosen to do the right thing to ride his motorcycle. Love you Aditya for your honesty.
Your interview proved what you wanted to make the world understand that the son of Shami Kapoor is a big failure Even after being born with silver spoon duffers fail Thanks for proving the same in your own style
Handsome guy.He seems to be an honest, unassuming person..He has no bitterness about other kapoor khandan people.Loved his honest take on various subjects.
Shammi Kapoor is really lucky to have a such lovely son who is really very Mature & Broad Minded person. I salute him for his straight & very fare person.

It's a beautiful talk, i personally feel your headline is not so appropriately befitting the wonderful interview, maybe it was a sort of a bait or else people may not have been so interested, maybe.... But thanks for bringing such a fresh insight into the great Kapoors from a sight of , i would say, relatively least known scion.
he is right shammiji never tell what to do ,how to do , mother and father both great person. i met shammiji at bridge candy hospital through the glass window,1st time and last. i Cry a lot , I talk with him on phone many tims fom Canada. great soul .happy person.the familyroom is change now ,i have old memory pics. I am from (Peshawar) Pakistan, and I love and respect the Kapoor family. Today's talk with Aditya Raj Kapoor was so heart-touching. Thank you very much for your efforts to upload this remarkably interesting video❤❤
At 33.50 And the song was TUMNE MUZE DEKHA.... IT WAS NOT ACTING., SHAMMI POURED HIS HEART.And original choice was Dev. Dev rejected, junglee, Tesari and one more movie, which all went to shammi and. Contributed in success called SHAMMI
I just come across this interview - very intresting Great Shammi Kapoor's son Mr Aditya is a very honest and humble person Very frank in all his answers Hats to him❤
I am a fan of shamiji. I always wanted to know more about his family. It's so nice to see Aditya. He so much resembles his father. And very handsome like most kapoors.
Prithvi Raj Kapoor the Grandfather. This is where Raj comes from. His son Raj Kapoor 1st name was Ranbir..full name Ranbir Raj Kapoor. That's why rishi named his son Ranbir after his dad. Shammi name was Shamsher Raj K and Shashi's name was Balbir Raj J and so on so forth
