Michael probably didn't want Isiah on the team because he would steal the show. Isiah was severely under valued. Michael can fly but Isiah could hypnotize opponents with his handles.

At all costs, should not include intentionally trying to injure players of the other team which at times was part of the pistons’ game plan. LeBron was in his transition summer between 1st and 2nd grade at the time and used his leverage as a mediating point in Cleveland between Chicago and Detroit to make sure Isiah Thomas was left off the team! LeBron’s daily, not Jordan’s! LeBron shoulda got on his little red bike and ridden down to Craig Ehlo’s house in Cleveland at the end of May after 1st grade had just ended during the Chicago/Cleveland 1992 NBA Playoffs series and gotten Craig to let him meet Mike and tell Mike to let Isiah on the Dream Team, but in vintage LeBron James fashion he cowered from the clutch moment and instead stayed riding his bike in his neighborhood in Akron with his friends. Sad, very sad, thanks LeBron.
