Lets be honest dallas isn't going to do anything until they get rid of Dak. Just how Tony Romo couldn't get the Cowboys to the playoffs, Dak Prescott can't get them to a Championship. He will get Dallas to the 1st round of the playoffs but after that it's over

As a Cowboy's fan I'm starting to realize that the players actually want to win the coaches actually wanted to win but honestly Jerry doesn't want to and doesn't care if they lose it does not matter to him cause his money still comes in and they get the publicity. Does Brady have equal to or more rings than all of the Qb greats of his era? Shannon is a great that played with all the great Qbs of his era. Where is the movie/book of his life? Ocho should have the same. Two greats that i really enjoyed watching. Always at the top of their game. They made it feel just as i felt asa kid playing football. unc is right. no reason to pay QBs early. dimes and russ were collosal mistakes. that being said it IS done for other positions. deandre hopkins got an extension from the cardinals that was MASSIVE for no reason. stefon diggs got traded and the texans VOIDED his remains 3 years as a favor to him. NFL teams placate to players for some reason. the team has all the leverage.

The reason QBs are paid early is because they are the most important position on the field. NY has an out with Jones' contract after this year. It was cheaper to 5th year and extend to spread out the cap hits. That being said...they shouldn't have even entertained the 5th year option and just signed a QB FA and/or draft one.

It's all about money, wrs are dependent upon the qb and ol, but want to be the second highest paid player on the team. When did having a top payed wr help get a team to a superbowl. I hate Dallas but if they were smart they would trade lamb like kc did with the cheetah. And how did that work out for KC( 2more superbowls) and I loath KC but they made the right decision even when it wasn't the most popular one. Overpaying wrs is a quick way to being last in your division

Jones needs to step aside if the Cowboys want to take that next step. Look at the mess he’s made with contracts. Dak’s situation is a nightmare for the team and now he has to pay Lamb and he’s going to need to pay Parsons soon too. Dak has a no trade clause is going to walk next year and they’re going to eat all that dead cap at once. Dallas won’t win anything again until Jones moves aside as GM
