About how long was it? I know all the Shantae games I've played weren't very long but were pretty fun. Half Genie Hero seemed like the shortest out of the ones I've played.

I played for 100% and even doing so slowly with lots of back-tracking it was under 15 hrs. If you are willing to make full use of food items and damage boosting you could easily get through the game in 8hrs, likely far faster.

It took me 7 hours to finish with 69% completion. I spent 2 extra hours looking for stuff and I'm at around 85% completion, so I'm guessing around 12 hours for 100%.

Hey so I just beat the game and somehow never passed through the Tour Route while playing. It is now closed off and I am not able to get the stuff that was inside. Is there a way I can still obtain the collectables to 100% the game.

Yes. At each entrance of the the scientists will be present. Talk to them and they will give you any item missed. This was not the case in the initial Apple Arcade release as I understand it, but it did work for me on PC.

$30 on steam doesn't seem overly cheap for a Shantae game. I imagine there will be DLC down the line like in 1/2 Genie Hero though. The game is only 10 hrs or so.

The load times that bad? I thought it was just a switch thing.

They seem to be universally long no matter what system. It might be a decision to make the game universal across platforms, but it is a bit annoying when a powerful PC could easily load all regions you are near and the game doesn't make use of the option. Particularly when there are several loading zones back to back.
