This weekend we thought we'd share with you a Shaolin Qi Gong Practice with Shifu Yanxin and his students, Arnie and Radha: Rou Quan | Soft Fist.
Rou Quan is known for its fluid, powerful and beautiful movements.
The Rou Quan style originates in the teachings of Tai Chi Quan and is closely related to the principles of Qi Gong. The combination of internal and external techniques in this form gives Rou Quan its dynamic character. The from is characterised by a combination of soft and flowing movements with elements of strength and explosiveness.

I have a question: Sifu Yan Lei's rou quan is different than Sifu Yan Xin. How is that? Sifu Yan Xin's rou quan is the one where I mostly found in RU-vid.

I'm all smiles here because I recognise so much in this form/sequence! As a Yang style Tai Chi practitioner for four years (+Xi Yang Mei) and currently practicing 13 Luohan, this video is a feast of recognition and inspiration. I absolutely dig the faster explosive movements and I already sometimes intuitively do these during my routines. What's next? 😃🥰

Thank you Master! 1000 time ~!!! What a beautiful explain about ‘Rou quan’ it is! Now I have a new goal to master it! I’ve been interested in rou quan since you show the world part of this, and with this video you completed it! Every beginner can learn with this beautiful tempo and form. By the way, nice camera work! :-) Your kungfu & qigong form is a new standard or base point for many of practinor. Man, for kungfu you are like lionel messi in kungfu world~! Hi-Tai-Chi, this form is completely differnt to the Rou Quan taught by Sifu Yan Lei, this form has more in common with Chen taijiquan, I think.

shifu ,, these these movements is not the same in other videos some made it like tai chi adding some others movements to it and some doing it fast like wushu style we are really confused which is the right one !
