Because she is trust me! I have watched so many other balloon artist and they do not really help us newbies understand what and how we should be pricing. I couldn’t even come up with a delivery fee amount because that’s how stressful planning and pricing can be when you’re doing everything in your own and everything is new to you. I am so so grateful for her breakdowns because it’s helping me tremendously. That and doing market research to see what other local balloon artist are offering in your area. Some are even kind enough to let you know what they charge! So you can either aim higher or lower based on your local competitors but ultimately practice because your work will speak for itself!!! @@rubinahafeez5341 I got a balloon stuffing machine and started making stuffed balloons. It so far has been great. Some people freak out on the prices and choose to tell you so. It is the same with the balloon garland and arches. alot of People want it for free and those are not your customers. I let those people know that I am not a gargage sale. lol I will make the garlands and arches but they need to be willing to pay for it. I did a rainbow arch and baby swing last month and charged 600.00 for them. The Stuffed Balloons took off quicker.

Do you come back and take the garland down after their event is over? Do they ever get to keep the garland? Were the backdrop and tables provided by you or was that already there? Is that included in the price?
Please answer. A potential client asked me the same questions. I would have to devise a way to keep the garland whole when I remove my props. Would you charge more to do that? How do you price your props, like the round arch?
I am also interested in this question. So far...…. if it is my stand and balloons are attached I will take them down no matter what so that I can pick up my props. But if the client wants you to get rid of the balloons or keep them and they want you to do the job of taking them down? how much would you charge or is that included in the price of the garland already? Please advise
I always go back n take the garland down if I’m using my backdrop ... if I’m attaching it to a wall etc then I don’t go back! No matter wat, the garland is for clients to keep
Yes. I was also looking for a rate with the backdrop and plinths. If i do a wall hanging garland, that is less expensive than one where a client uses a backdrop stand with curtains etc. So how much does the backdrop stand rent for?

I second this! Your tutorials are by far the best I've found on RU-vid. I love the way you explain all the elements of your design so technically. This is my dream, to elevate my business to this level so thank you for sharing. I am also a new business and it takes me a long time to even just blow up and arrange my balloons into clusters. How would I price something like this which would probably take me forever?
She said she wouldn't recommend charging less than $100, ESPECIALLY, if it isn't your first year. Basically, she's saying you should aim to charge at least $100 period.

Yes, you are the first one who actually shared the dollar amount. But people are not willing to pay $600 plus for something that gets popped after the event. They want the look but for a cheap price. This is what I am experiencing 😩
I bought a electric balloon pump on Amazon at 18$ and balloons at 30$ for 600 balloons at different sizes. No way I’m paying for NO ONE to blow up balloons, I got the time😂 600$ no way
Right the most I've charged was 300. They gonna get what they pay for. They like my plain ones but they love my garlands with decorations..flowers/orbs and such. I always ask their budget because I'm not gonna waste our time. I shoot my price it'll either hit or miss and fine with either.
I had this issue before too, people get scared when you tell them price but i once told someone that they hire a DJ for their event to play music but you can't take the music away with you at the end of the night!! so if they are thinking that the balloons get popped at the end of the event after paying tell them they will have the memory and nice photos, the same goes for caterers at an event, you can't take the food home but you enjoy the food at the event!! people need to think more when worrying about the price, i have had to educate some people on their event with pricing when they say oh can you do it cheaper for balloons, er no!!!
Very helpful. Pricing garlands can be a drag to make sure you are making a profit. Question. What is that in your hand that you are attached the bundle clusters and each balloon with? Can't tell if its scissors or a new tool to help speed up the creation process. Please share.
