In the last video of my series on making a military rifle stock from scratch, the rear half of the stock has been shaped. Now, I tackle the front end, shaping it to closely match the original stock. Finger grooves are cut into the sides. The barrel bands are fit, along with the magazine door. The result is the whole stock in a semi-finished state. It's at the final dimension, but finer sanding is needed before oiling. But before I get there, I still need to make the handguard, which will be the next video in the series.
