@Bam OuttaDaBayou Wade was screwed before he even got the NBA. They took out his meniscus in college. Wade's knees would of never lasted past 2012, even if he didn't have to carry such a huge load from 07-10. Alot of that is Beasley not being great too, would of been cool to see Wade and Russ or Kevin Love for a bit.

Once he got the three rings in LA, he understood what it took to get a championship. He knew Wade, after three years in the league at the time, understood what it took to win at that level. He could trust Wade, and that's why he got the title.

He could have won just as many if not more with the Lakers. But unlike Duncan with the Spurs (who only cared about TEAM success), O'Neal didn't want to play 2nd fiddle to Bryant; it was all about ego and foolish pride. So O'Neal did the only thing he could do to save face -- i.e., he left and played 2nd fiddle to another star SG in the form of Wade.

I love and appreciate Shaq so much for being one of the GOAT from his Era then bestowing his knowledge/talents down to generations afterwards. Speaks to the integrity, humility of the basketball community. Being able to keep producing results while mentoring fellow younger guys. What a man! And I just love his sense for humor. I salute all of you guys! Great interview. I used to collect MJ, Magic, Shaq and Zo's basketball cards as they were my faves along with Grant Hill. But Flash is still my favorite from 06 to when he retired. Pay Riley and Wade brought love of basketball to Miami that I am forever grateful for. To see other people have the same love for the game and understanding if they are a die hard fan like me. Nothing like Basketball IQ that thrills me watching these coaches and players!
