If I’m not mistaken Shaq said the verse released was a 2nd verse from BIG, I forgot why he had to change the verse. I think it was Shaq on Drink Champs
Yeah...I mean, when the MAJORITY of the planet know your name, AND you're not a quiet, recluse like Jordan or MJ(Jackson)...you're gonna have those stories. Imagine being THAT big, talented, that rich at that age, being that type of role model and then on top of that, you've got character, you're a good dude, you're funny, you don't take yourself too seriously. You got a Step-Father(just...really his Dad) who takes you down and shows you a family that is homeless because of a couple of bad months when you whine about pressure early in your career(to put shit in perspective for you). THAT is how you become Shaq.
Nba, rap with BIG, movies, shows like the shit with Bear Grylls, buys crazy shit for random people when he is just out and about. Has the Walmart record for most spent in one purchase. Lol Wild, Shaq is the man.
@@korey_keith8983 and a sheriff, and an actor, and a promotor, and a board member, and an entrepreneur, and a great father. I'm sure that I'm forgetting a few things. Shaq is a class act!!!
Most slept on hit by biggie ever, it's almost like they want to constantly say Shaq can't rap so they ignore a great song he was featured in with a legend
yes bro, you missed out. Biggie shows had the most energy. I saw him every time he came to Philly. Even shared the same stage with him one night due to my homeboys NAAM opening the show. CRAZY ENERGY. Only one person had a more electrified show believe it or not, Dougie Fresh 💪🏾💯
Yeah, I feel you on that… I was 8 or 9 when they announced Pac dead on my birthday, September 13th…. And the next year Biggie, I was too young to really understand hip-hop…. But as I got older, through their music I understood the how important hip hop was to me… every time I listen to either of their music it makes me wish I was born at least 10 years earlier, I should’ve been born in the 70’s🤦🏾♂️
@@focob55 not even in the same category. Dude was good at selling records, for sure. This is other level stuff. Don't @ me, I'm not a fan and all the shit talking ain't gonn change that.
That Shaq and biggie record is forever a classic . I actually didn’t hear it until after big passed away and I was like damn that studio session must have been epic because I heard it was recorded just weeks before he was killed and the song hadn’t made it to radio but it was on a bunch of peoples playlists .
I ain't gon lie, I'm a youngin. Born about 6 months after Big passed. I discovered this song last year after hearin King Los freestyle over the beat on Sway In The Morning, INSTANTLY got hooked to it 🔥🔥🔥 Big came through for Shaq heavy
That's what's up! It's good to know that B.I.G will do songs with people on the underground status. I was 19 when "You can't 🛑 the reign(96)" came out. Classic song and album by Shaq!
I'll never forget when I first heard this. I looked at Shaq totally different. Hate him or love him, he the most solid human being on and off the court. Maaaaadddddd Respect! It's Crazy though because I draw the line on him for Kobe. Wish they would've stayed together. 💪🏾💪🏾💯💯
Love how shaq won't say the N word instead he says brothers just shows the man's morals he has to be one of the best humans on our planet hopefully one day he runs for president
Man dudes flow was so filthy, I'm glad that I was born in the 80s and got to witness hip hop at it's best in the 90s. These mumble rappers and lil this and lil that straight 🗑️🚮
You’re not wrong about that era of hip hop but the generation 20 years before you said the same thing about your preference of music unfortunately. I love how every generation thinks every other generation is wrong 😢
If only suqe and diddy werent so greedy and knocked off the two best things to happen to hip hop at 24 yrs old smh. Imagine how many more classic songs wed have
Very few artists can be able to just go in the booth and be ready to spit out a 16 on one take! Big was just ready like that. Very glad that Shaq got the opportunity to have B.I.G on a song before he passed. One of my favorite songs from him! Rip B.I.G🙏!
Shaq got every pennies worth of verses from BIG. That’s the best he ever spit in his life thanks to BIG writing it. Dope ass song tho I was rockin it faithfully lock
Ayo for those who don’t know what hip hop is SHAQ was that dude believe or not he had flow for real he blew our mind when we heard him Rap peace shout out to SHAQ and Biggie may he R.I.Paradise
Biggie could create stuff right on the spot all the time. He was known for battling on the streets on NY before he made it big. He had such a flow it was ridiculous.
What sucks is I had Shaqs cd. it came with his game Shaq fu I got for sega. I was a huge fan of him when I was a kid. I had his rookie card his Reeboks. His jersey. Too bad I really never kept anything from my childhood. I wish one day I could meet him. He was literally my idol as a child.
Don't feel bad bro like for real ... in 2006 my bro was destroying the his life with drugs and created a horrible environment for a kid . I left or gave away shit I had that was important to me but couldn't take, like fuck your Playstation you got no TV so gave it away, but what hurt .... was my shoe box full of 1st edition Pokémon cards filled with nothing but holographics & I only bought 1st edition packs too if it wasn't for my brother id be fucking rich but as a kid being forced to grow up fast it wasn't a time for card games n shit .
That's why BIG is a legend even though he only was able to put like 2 albums before he was killed. No one else with 2 albums is considered a legend. R.I.P BIG R.I.P PAC
Everybody talks about the rock being the president I think Shaq is going to be president what has Shaq not done he's been a professional wrestler professional rapper professional basketball player sports announcer Papa John's owner Shaquille O'Neal's worth ethic is unstoppable
