The Amorites would descendants of one of the sons of Canaan, Canaan was Agenor father of Cadmus Europa and Phoenix; they were also known as the Phoenicians although the Phoenicians are the descendants of Phoenix. Agenor was originally from Egypt being the son of Cush and the grandson of Ham, however it was Canaan who was cursed. Also the Philistines were originally from Egypt as well they are the sons of Casluhim as well as Caphtor the ancestor of the Cretans in Crete and was Hephaestus and they were in that territory after their defeat by the Egyptians at Megiddo

Ironic that he was forgotten as later babylonian legends put Naram-Sin as the last king of Akkad.
