Shark IZ202 Cordless Vacuum Overview (quick review)

This a quick unboxing and review of the Shark IZ202(ANZ) Cordless Vacuum. I presume that the ANZ suffix designates the Australian-New Zealand release as apparently, different countries may have slight variations to their retail packages with different included accessories.
One thing not mentioned is the recommended price tag of close to AUD $650 for this vacuum at time of this video being uploaded, which is on par with an equivalent Dyson cordless stick vacuum. It can be seen as a "Con" for some and neither here nor there for others if that is within your budget for something cordless which can replace both your handheld and full vacuum cleaner.

My objective in buying cordless is to clear my cats' litter. I have given away 2 cordless vac becoz it was not able to do that.. i have read conflicting reviews abt this model so i am still on the lookout.

I got it 2 days ago ..have a feeling its not picking up everything from hard floors ...I dont on carpet setting it does but not on hard floors setting .. which is disappointing..I donno what I am possibly doing wrong 🙄

I am actually thinking to buy this on tax return sale period you reckon it's worth it? I have got the list of Dyson V8 or V10 cyclon (cuz $400 sale now) and Miele c3 type and this one for me i need strong performance vacumm on carpet floor tho...

Is this definitely the IZ202? I’ve just bought one, but the head is different, having three LED lights I; the centre, as opposed to on either side like yours.

Definitely the model I was informed about before receiving it, and it's also on the manual at 0:23. More specifically, it's the IZ202ANZ - so it's the model for Australia and New Zealand market, unless yours might be a different one if not from Australia/New Zealand? And/or maybe after 2 years they've revised the model?

I got 2 weeks ago and I don’t think Picking up especially in carpet , is to expensive and don work 😢

I have the shark nv500 the old one white and red, which one is strong power? I have thick carpet as well? Is it recommended?

Hi @lifewith3kidz, sorry, I have no knowledge or experience with any other Shark vacuums, so I'm not in a good position to advise. I have not tried this unit on thick carpet, so I'm not 100% sure of it's effectiveness in that situation, but I would feel more confident with a more powerful or corded vacuum. That is, unless your carpet was relatively new and vacuumed regularly already. In that case, I think this would suffice. Just my opinion.
