Loved this! The best vacuum review I have ever watched - I am super impatient so I did watch it at 1.5x speed but I’ll blame that on my undiagnosed ADD. Thank you, a room mate previously had the ZU632 - I absolutely loved it. Still for the price I though I better check it out vs other models, the powered lift away has to be my favourite feature! So handy!! Thanks again.
Great review. Wish I had seen this prior to buying the ZU632. I had the NV752 and the motor on has a self drive do you do not have to push the vacuum! It also has a longer cord than the new model. With a 2500sq ft home, these 2 features makes vacuuming so much easier! Returning my ZU632 for the older NV572.
I have the apex duo clean that has suction nothing like I’ve ever felt in an upright vacuum. I really interested in the new shark vertex, but I’m going to wait for reviews.
Some Shark products without DuoClean have a switch to turn off the brush roller to keep from damaging hardwood or laminate floors. With the DuoClean products, I understand that you cannot turn off the brush roller, but it spins slower on hard floor mode. Can laminate floors can be damaged by the spinning brush roller? I would like to see a cleaning comparison between a DuoClean product and a standard product with the brush roller turned off. Thanks
My Shark ZU632 floor nozzle brushroll isn't turning, headlights doesn't turn on when I press the power button, and the brushroll indicator light doesn't turn on as well. What do I do? Or maybe its the handle and hose problem? Also when I turn on the vaccum and set the vacuum modes, the light doesn't turn on. The vacuum itself works but its those parts that isn't working for me. Edit: Turns out it was my extension wand. A wire broke off from a connector, got a replacement extension wand and now it works!
Thanks for the detailed review and comparison! Perfect timing too, as I am looking at purchasing the ZU632. Could you tell me if the motorized brush from the NV752 works as it should on the ZU632?
Hi John. I just tried the motorized brush tool (the one that came with our NV752) on our ZU632. It fit fine and worked fine. I tried it on the end of the handle and wand.
Shark sold a certain model like this that was the NV752 but the larger version at Walmart. I also wanted to just buy a new nozzle, but Shark never listed the vacuum on their web site, even for parts. Of course if Shark just let us replace the roller after it wears out, I wouldn't need a new nozzle to begin with. Only the duo clean speed and a few others let you do that. Which is why I got that model instead.
@@VacuumAdvisor I have the ZU632 thanks to your recommendation. I am trying to buy the motorized brush tool separately. Can you confirm a model number of a replacement motorized brush tool so I can make sure I get the right one? I noticed ZU632 has 3 prongs instead of 2 so I just want to make sure I get the right one. Thanks!
One question on the NV752: Where do you store the tools? Ours (a NV750 just new) did not come with an accessory holder as shown in some on line videos. It has two strange looking holders on ea. side that don't work real well?
We just ordered the zu620 from Walmart, and it was weird...the outer protective boxes were 632 boxes, but "620" labels had been taped over all the "632" numbers...and yet, the inner box and vacuum cleaner were the 632...to our delight! The 620 is supposed to be only 14 lbs. instead of 16 lbs. for the 620, but I'm skeptical of that. Otherwise they appear to be identical, except that the 632 is still sold and is blue and has the newer style suction and brush roller speed control.
Ha! You are right. It was actually a little tricky. I kept switching back to "zed" naturally, but I think most people who watch the videos relate to "zee".
