The dangers of weight loss drug she has been using, reports suggest OZEMPIC can stop heart attacks . for more go to ---------- • Visible Difference Hat...
@@DebbieOrlando-z5hShe had face work prior to taking Ozempic. The weight loss in her face accentuates the implants in her cheeks an pd other areas. Even without plastic surgery, when a person loses weight they’re going to lose it in their face and everywhere else in their body.
I blame society for putting overweight/obesity high on a pedestal for its market value and having folks discreetly suffer behind a mask as they live through the reality of it. They condemn others for not being attracted to their unhealthy state but run to use drugs like this. We need a medically approved fitness culture, like when had that ever been a thing here in America?
What do they care? They prescribe anything that keeps the money coming in. They also pushed a dangerous vaccine on millions of people that don't need it. Health is not their goal.
Sharon looks really ill, her family must be worried?! I intermittently fasted, walked 10,000 steps a day, no snacking. Lost 35lbs naturally in 6 mths. Feel great, but I didn’t risk my health like this! OMG.
I've been doing the same. Blood sugars a little high, so also have been doing low carb. Have lost 25 lbs. since October and feel so much better. It would be just my luck that I would be one of those with the horrible Ozempic side effects. I'm sure it's beneficial for the right patient, but I always prefer to stay off of medications if there is ANYTHING I can do naturally to avoid them! I'm an RN and know all too well the endings people with chronic conditions can suffer. Intermittent fasting has been the one thing I think I can really do for life, as long as I don't try to get too extreme with it. Good job and I hope you enjoy many years of good health!
@@Sparkles12340 I lost 20 lbs the same way. Another 20 to go. The best way for long term weight loss is move more, eat less. Nothing has changed. Drugs come and go and most gain the weight back.
My neighbor passed away this week after an accidental overdose of ozempic. Her blood sugar dropped drastically, her kidneys began failing and she was extremely nauseous and vomiting. She was admitted to the hospital and died the following day from a heart attack. Her body was under so much stress from the side effects.
Poor Sharon looks terrible...OMG !! I am an RN and was on Ozempic for 2 months and lost 17 lbs. but was nauseous, very tired, and acid reflux returned. As I read about more and more side effects, I stopped it. It's NOT safe and as an RN registered nurse and would NOT recommend it to anyone for weight loss.
I read that it causes fat loss, yes, but also significant muscle loss in older patients which can be permanent. It just is not a lifetime solution for weight control
Decades ago, my husband's doctor prescribed Phen-fen. I took one and, Wow! That day I was super woman. I cleaned and defrosted two chest freezers, moved them and swept and mopped the floor beneath them, then went through the house doing the same things until late evening. I Loved it! Then all the bad press about it being dangerous caused it to be pulled. When things sound too good to be true, it almost always is
I know someone who has been taking Ozempic for two years. She has lost over 70 pounds but it doesn’t look healthy. She looks exhausted all the time and very weathered. Like she lost her natural glow and the life in her eyes. I’m really worried for her.
@@Annie-xh2dt Yes because she could have stopped it sooner when she felt she was losing to much and at a weight that she felt comfortable with. Cause why would you keep going.
I for one appreciate her honesty in telling her story. A lot of people in Hollywood and reality television won’t speak the truth that they too are using this drug for weight loss
I think it’s cool that despite her success with using it responsibly, she saw the potential for abuse by young people to use as a weight loss drug and decide to talk about it.
Because of doctors prescribing Ozympic for weight loss, people like my husband, a type 2 diabetic could no longer get it and was changed to a different drug. It did not work as well and was very new on the market. Less than a year later he had a massive heart attack and passed away. He should never have had to change drugs due to dieters. Selfishness hurt those who needed Ozympic.
I'm so sorry for your loss. But from the sound of it, Ozempic is not the answer, either; sounds like it made people incredibly sick and had terrible side effects (no, I've never used it, and I'm not defending those who used it for weight loss). Prayers for you and your family, and again, my condolences!
Are you aware that type 2 diabetes is reversible by simply going on a low carb diet and losing weight? There is really no need tor any medication at all.
I'm glad I lost the weight the natural way by working out, staying active, and actually watching my food intake and looking at fats and calories. I have learned a ton since I started loosing weight.
I honestly really appreciate her realness here even though she admitted she is part of the reason diabetic patients couldn’t get their medication, I really tip my hat to her for being so honest
My partner is type 1 , has been since birth so absolutely can not live without insulin , since all this has been going on there has been a few times we have gone to get his prescription only to be told sorry there’s non available, it has more then once got to a point where he has had no insulin left at all and all the pharmacy have said is sorry there’s nothing we can do ! It has been a frightening experience.
@@ukmedicfrcstype 1 diabetes and type 2 diabetes are completely different. Type 1 a person has from birth and they do not produce insulin at all, so the only medication that they can take is insulin. Other than insulin the other diabetic medications do not work for type 1 diabetes, I don’t know why type 1 was even mentioned in the comment above because Ozempic is not insulin. Y’all need to get your facts straight. Also I can tell you that there have been many medications for all different types of diseases that people actually need have been on the shortage list, I know this from personal experiences. I am also a Type 2 diabetic and have been working very hard trying to reverse it. I have been on oral medication for quite awhile (years) and changed my eating habits and still couldn’t lose the weight or get my A1C down to a non- diabetic level, so my physician (who also monitors me and my blood levels every 3 months put me on Ozempic and it has been life changing for me as first and most importantly my A1C is down to pre- diabetic levels and I am finally losing the weight that I need to lose to not be considered obese, as my goal is to lose the weight and to live a healthier lifestyle so I can get off of most if not all of my medications. Especially since I also have a heart murmur that has become more pronounced over the past couple of years. So my point is no Ozempic is not a cure all, as you have to change your diet and lifestyle, it is also not something that everyone should be taking just because they want to lose weight as there should be at least other health factors, and those who are not being monitored closely by a physician definitely should not be given or taking any kind of prescription medication.
@@ukmedicfrcsOf course there is but Ozempic is one of the most commonly used and it must be incredibly frustrating for those with diabetes, that so many people who don’t need it are using it. It makes it harder for those who need it, to get it.
To be honest this makes me think how ridiculous society is. Drug dealers are jailed for selling harmful substances, yet pharmaceutical companies and chemists are allowed to freely sell substances that if used wrongly can harm you without any consequences.
Like the jab, now no one can sue because y’all signed waivers… it didn’t stop transmission and they ignored natural immunity, and now I know 30 yr olds on heart meds . It wasn’t a jab that fits all and they didn’t care. Big pharma is all about profit and keeping you coming back for more
Took my first shot of Ozempic (0.25) on Friday. By Saturday had excruciating stomach pain, dizzy, vomiting. Planned on going to ER on Sunday because I had never felt so sore since both of my csections. Slightly better today but still can’t stand up straight, dizzy and am only consuming cold pressed juice and small pieces of banana. Will not be taking my second shot. I’ll never take it again.
Wow! I hope you feel better now. It's obvious that patients are not being given all the information they should be armed with before they take this drug.
I never got sick until I started taking 1.0, but I had several weeks where I was throwing up, and feeling horrible. It goes away eventually, but you have to question if it’s worth it.
@@shelleymarion7412 I totally would have persevered but the abdominal pain was like nothing I had ever had before. Throwing up I can handle but not being able to stand up because I felt like I’d had a vertical C-section right up to under my breast bone was the most extreme pain I’ve ever experienced. I KNOW most other people can’t be experiencing that and I don’t know why I did.
I was (am) a LT member of Weight Watchers. I haven't attended meetings since Covid and while I know at this point I could certainly return to those meetings I have lost respect for that organization since they now promote Ozempic. The reason I first joined was because of their concept of (1) teaching people to make better food choices (2) understanding that people need to be more active. Although I realize WW would (hopefully) only suggest this drug for the small majority of it's members, just the fact that they are rubs me wrong. I remember where there was a time when it took changing your lifestyle for the better to make the changes you'd like. Apparently now they and too many doctors are in partnership with drug manufactures. In my perfect world there would be no drug commercials on TV or radio. Go back to the days when your doctor would discuss with you lifestyle options and then, if needed, medications could be discussed.
I can’t believe WW is going this way with medication, isn’t it all about learning to eat healthy and live an active lifestyle, shame on them…. Anything for the big $$$$$$$
@@christined2495 Unless a person is taught or does research, they have no idea what eating healthy looks like. Really. It's a mystery to them. That's what education is about. There are people who would be dead today if it weren't for drugs, procedures with very potent drugs that save people's lives. I think for those scoffing about 'big pharm' being greedy monsters would change their minds if they were in a horrible position needing some of those life saving drugs. And don't get me started about pharma NOT creating drugs that cure disease, just for the purpose to keep people on drugs forever so the money rolls in.
I qualify for ozempic. I have fatty liver, don’t drink or use drugs, it’s the non alcoholic fatty liver. I’m stage 1, so there is time for me to save my liver. I’m giving it an honest go before using ozempic. So far, I’ve lost 25 pounds by intermittent fasting and making better food choices. I’m waiting to loose more weight to exercise. I have a physical disability that makes it difficult to walk and impossible to run, but I’m going to buy a stationary bike and elliptical machine in hopes I can do it. I also do not want to take away from severe diabetics who need the drug. So far, I’m doing well. I just hope I keep it up. Good luck to all of you trying to get healthy. You can do it!!!
You will lose more fat by building muscles through exercises on the floor or with weights (once you can do those with just your body weight comfortably). Don't go for cardio for weight loss. That's only good to exercise your heart. For weight loss, strength training.
Don’t focus on cardio. Not being able to run shouldn’t be an issue. Focus on weight-training and muscle building. I’d highly recommend looking into calisthenics. You don’t need external weights or do go to a gym. It’s all based on using your own body weight, to build muscle. And I am not talking about becoming big and bulky. Though, cardio will deplete muscle - and muscle is the absolute key to longevity and health; and the more muscle one has, the better their metabolic system is. Especially, when it comes to fatty liver. Also, don’t focus on “weight-loss.” Focus on “fat-loss.” Because weight-loss can indicate a loss in fat - or muscle. And the absolute last thing anyone wants (unless they are a body builder and in their cutting season ) - is to lose muscle. The more muscle One gains - the more calories their body will burn, in the process of doing so. Also, be careful with cardio and intermittent fasting., in combination. Both of such, cause a release in cortisol - which, also, drops progesterone. It’s not that all stress is bad, for the body. Though, you don’t wanna over do it, ‘cause this will deplete more muscle. And as I stated - muscle health is the key to longevity and proper metabolic function.
Type II diabetic here. Ozempic did help me lose 70 pounds but not without terrible side effects. I’m still dealing with the after effects 2 years later. I have no appetite and have completely lost any enjoyment of food.
The only thing food wise that I am "having" a problem with is that I am losing my taste for sweets. I don't eat sweets a lot, but when i do, they are not tasting right. I had a box of store brand thin mints. It did not taste like them. I got the girl scout's thin month. Tasted the same. Bland. Animal crackers tasted beyond bland. Graham Crackers tasted ok. I think this is a good thing. Sometimes regular food taste bland too.
My doctor put me on ozempic for my diabetes, 3/4 months later I was put in hospital, I lost a lot of weight and my ability to walk as I lost strength because of malnutrition. Please be careful with ozempic my friends.
I recently lost 15 lbs from cutting back on sweets and carbs and doing a lot of walking and swimming. You don’t need drugs to lose the weight. Once you stop all that weight plus more will come back on
@@annefitz7346a lot of women over the age of 50 have found the carnivore diet to be extremely beneficial for weight loss, overall health and vitality.
@@MimilovesDaphne Cut back on sweets and carbs and walk a lot, do water arobics, most importantly, stop snacking. The weight will come off. Stop looking for an easy way out.
It caused me gastroparesis . I was taking it as a pre-diabets med, which is not an off-label use, mind you. Long-story short: I couldn’t stand the nausea and debilitated me to the bone. So my doc switched back to metformin, which is free of charge for diabetes patients down here in Brazil. I get stomach sick just to remember that black period in my life . Not blaming anyone. Just sharing my experience.
I'm grateful to my doctor for being honest with me. She told me that two of her patients have permanent gastroparesis because of off-label Ozempic use for weight loss.
Why is it okay for her to take it but then she is worried that it will get in the wrong hands? Privilege- she is responsible but others are not. Please…
Poor thing!! She looked so much better before ozempic! I wonder if she sees what we do when she looks in the mirror or does the “skinniness” blind her?? This breaks my heart, so many have “disappeared” due to hollywierd’s view of what women should look like!! So so sad!!!😢
The nausea is nothing. I have diabetes, but my CNP wanted me on it for weight loss. I didn't feel right taking it and stopped. Went in for my check up and she insisted that I HAD to take it. I started taking it and even tho I was still taking my depression medication, my depression was getting worse. I became very irritable with my family and was becoming suicidal. I am not the only one that Ozempic has had this effect on. Plenty of RU-vidrs. And I lost more weight by doing intermittent fasting than I did on Ozempic. To top it off, it was a drug i should never have been prescribed. I talke Levothyroxin because I had my thyroid removed to due to Thyroid cancer. And the warning label says do not take with Levothyroxin. I discovered that when I started checking out what I went thru.
OMG! You should NEVER have been put on it. No one with any type of thyroid issues should and in my opinion and what I have read about it and thyroid issues.
It’s vastly important to do our own research, be practical about it. And, try to find a competent doctor for whatever you medical needs are. I know certain countries have different ways of getting care, and the US is dictated by insurance companies, and $$$. It’s too easy to take a pill and lose weight. Unfortunately, not living a healthier lifestyle isn’t going to be in your favor later on. Side effects with too many medications is often worse than having the problems.
2015: I FIRED a general practitioner physician who diagnosed me as diabetic. I did the research, returned to a more specific diet, addressed stress with meditation and more walking. Threw the Metformin in the trash after a week of use generated horrible leg cramps. 2023: I've gracefully lost 50 pounds, just had a check up and I am in better than average shape for my age group. Go holistic! Consult a naturopath FIRST.
All one has to do is the work. I took ozempic for 3mos. Quit and did the work, diet and exercise. Dropped 30+ in less than a year. Im a senior and didnt think at my age it could be done. Its a lifestyle change.
I hope Sharon will be alright. She holds a private, special place in my heart. Battling cancer several years ago, the only time I really laughed my arse off was watching her and Louie on BGT.
That cancer survivor status is something I never forget! Colon cancer, if I remember correctly. I truly felt for their family. The reality show came out around that time, if I remember correctly. I am a cancer survivor, myself! 2009, I had stage 3c DIC of the breast. 11/21 positive nodes, which I never heard of...I'm just glad the nodes took up the cancer, not another, more vital organ. Can't believe 15 years have gone by since my dx...I was so worried, I have so much gratitude for life today, I feel guilty even being depressed, because it's ungrateful of me, and a waste of energy I could be using in a positive way
People who don’t want to do the work of exercising every day and monitoring the types of foods they are ingesting and don’t want to make true lifestyle changes, just want an easy fix.
Sharon has changed her looks so drastically the only way you know its her is her hair color and voice. Shame people think they need to go under the knife. I was on ozempic because I am a diabetic, while it did help my A1C I had to stop it because of bloodwork results for my liver.
Dont blame people. Blame poor FDA oversite. Pharmaceutical industry and doctors. The same way they target pain pills They need to monitor this medication.
Our FDA is a joke. As someone who has worked in healthcare each individual needs to be their own advocate. So many medications now, doctors can’t keep up. People need to do their own research.
Thank you Sharon, Weight is such a personal struggle for woman and men. Your frankness and open honesty about this drug is greatly appreciated. Maybe someday there will be better products to help us loose weight. You are beautiful !
Sorry, don't feel sorry for those getting it for weight loss, not diabetics. Doctors should be fined for doing this. Also, it's very expensive and there are diabetics not able to get it because of cost or availability
So because she took it too far, she’s going to tell others that it’s dangerous when people really need it. Sharon has always used extreme measures to lose weight. At least she has been told how her personal wealth and vanity have made it so others who need the medication can’t get it bc of people like her.
I gave up on her, she’s hypocritical. A few years ago on The Talk she acted how she doesn’t want to dye her hair anymore and she wants to go natural grey, and everyone at the show was like wow that’s amazing bla bla bla, She got her day in the press and went back to dying her hair red. Same with this one, she still uses ozempic, hypocritical woman.
Huge respect to Sharon for being honest about this drug. It made me terribly, terribly sick. I lost weight because I was so ill I couldn’t eat and had a hard time just getting out of bed some days. The GI side effects were horrible.
I’m in no way promoting poor eating and obesity , but I’m fearful that unhealthy things are coming back. It would be nice if true heath and natural size was embraced. I say this as a 65 year old woman that has semi starved herself her whole adult life and have had a very difficult time accepting the ten pounds I’ve gained in the last five years. Women think they are so liberated but yet there is still a desperate desire for us to stay young and very thin. It really is the curse upon Eve still manifesting today.
@@lisalehr4635 yay, that is excellent. I bet you have more energy and mobility. When I mention natural size I was referring to not starving ourselves to obtain things our frames can not be. Healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle will not result in morbid obesity.
My cousin just had her stomach removed because of this drug combined with a pre-existing lap-band removal. Her stomach became paralyzed. She now has a very small “stomach” left and is on a 3-month liquid diet until she heals well enough for it to work properly. If it doesn’t, she will be on a feeding tube indefinitely. She is diabetic and was taking it for that.
I spent 3 weeks doing some volunteer work in a place that was covered in cat diarrhea. Spent a lot of time cleaning it up. 14 hour days. I could not eat there. Can't eat breakfast. So one meal a day while exhausted. After it was over took a look at myself in a mirror. I had dropped 15 pounds and the image was scarry. My skin was just hanging everywhere. I looked a good 20 years older. For the one and only time in my life I actually worked at gaining weight. If you are a woman over 50 you should not be below 22 percent body fat. Normally I hover between 22 and 24. And it was in the fall, so 22 percent. Right at the edge. So that extre 15 pounds off explains why.
My diabetes was out of control. Been on Ozempic since August 2023. A1c from 8.9 to 5.6 blood sugar levels back to normal. I lost 52 lbs. it helps but you also need to help it. Eat no sugar and very low carbs. Once you stop Ozempic keep eating the right way and exercise. I never had a problem with it.
I agree, she looks terrible now! I thought she looked much better before and I was surprised to here her say she lost 3 stone (42 lbs), I wouldn't have thought that she had that much to lose. I would say that she's the poster girl for "Ozempic Face".
It's unbelievable what people will put in their bodies without doing research. I lost my best friend in the world to Phen Phen back in the mid 90s. I was so angry and there was nobody to take my anger out on. Think people, think!
I have been taking Ozempic for 4 years for Type II Diabetes and I have only lost 10 pounds. I can’t tell you how many times I have not been able to refill my prescription because of the amount of people who use it for weight loss.
If you watch Dr Jason Fung’s video’s he tells you how to reverse type 2 diabetes. He’s a very clever man he’s written a book, The Diabetes Code, it’s an excellent book I have it as a talking books, If I had diabetes, I’d follow Dr Fungs advice. 😉
Look up "gastroparesis", and understand that a large part of how this drug works is by mimicking that condition. it also triggers your pancreas to release more insulin, which helps clear glucose out of the blood stream, which is why it's used for diabetes. However that process has problems too. It can lead to acute pancreatitis, and worsens the problem of insulin resistance.
I take ozempic at a very low dose 1.5 mg for type 2 diabetes and have taken it for a year. In that year I've lost 30 lb very reasonable . I have a friend who wanted it for weight loss and went to basically a spa and got the prescription from a nurse practitioner. And her prescription was for 12 mg. That's crazy . That's probably why these people are having horrible side effects because their doses are ridiculously high because they want to shed the weight quickly. What they don't realize is as soon as they stop taking it they will regain at minimum 2/3 of what they lost
These programmes are so biased why don't they show the people who have succeeded with ozempic for weightloss and haven't gained since stopping it. They won't because they don't want people to get healthy as they lose out on money
My cousins wife was put on this drug for her type 2 Diabetes. She maybe could have dropped a stone, but she’s lost 3 stone and still losing. She looks dreadful and I fear for her.
Ozempic for diabetic, Wegovy for non-diabetic (different name-same med, prescribed for the weight loss, due to Ozempic's high demand was causing shortages for diabetics who need), injection process prep is different. This is what I was told by a person that's used both and lost tremendous weight, also ended up having to have her gallbladder removed.
If they are the same drug why not just manufacture more ozempic and be done with it. Having a second drug exactly the same but advocated just for weight loss is a scam as it costs four times more, just because it's for weight loss. And if diabetics can't get hold of ozempic due to shortages, why can't they just get wegovy instead. This all seems to be more about money than health.
I'm eligible for this and I'm diabetic. Every Tom Dick and Hary is using it for weight loss and its out of stock. So people who really need it can't get it.
My husband has been prescribed this for diabetes and still can't get it because there are so many people taking it for weight loss. It's really ridiculous.
I'm 62 and vegan for 7 years. So much easier to go vegan and maintain one's weight and become healthier than it is to rely on drugs and/or extreme diets.
If someone has physical issues and literally can't exercise then it's almost impossible to lose any decent amount of weight. You'll hit a plateau you can't get past unless you add exercising, which you can't do. I know several people like this. One has a blown out knee and badly damaged hip from an accident and the other has a severe lower back injury. Neither will be getting better and can barely manage to walk at all. Both have gained a lot of weight since their injuries so this drug would be their only way of getting that weight off, which will help them manage with their injuries. So for some people who need to lose weight this drug would be a godsend.
They say cameras add 10 lbs. so she must really look bad. I’m pre diabetic and was thinking of taking O but the more I hear of the side effects and what happens when you stop it’s not worth it so thank you for all the comments cutting back on carbs and sugars should be more healthy.
My friend died two months after starting O. She couldn’t make herself eat. She became depressed, became anemic. I believe ultimately this med can be so dangerous.
As a person with type 2 diabetes I can no longer get the injection because it’s just being sold for weight loss . So I have to take much more dangerous medication which causes you to put on weight which is something we don’t need .
I'm the living example of side affects. 2 emergency surgeries & another major surgery this year. All to lose 15 lbs. I've found no recourse or attorney willing to sue the compound pharmacy that provided the generic prescription to my doctor. Scarred for life & it has probably lowered my life expectancy. I'm lucky as there have been deaths reported.
Maybe a month. I never even got up to full dosage. I went back to the doctor. Told him of the severe side affects along with an emergency room visit. He suggested I "give it another go" as the nursing staff had good luck with it. This was a year ago. It landed me in the hospital for over a month with 2 emergency surgeries & sepsis. I almost DIED. I have a 3rd major surgery on my gut scheduled for next week. I'll be hospitalized for approximately 1 week more. I saved the unused meds, paperwork & astronomical hospital bills. Some of the stories I've been told about side affects are horrendous. Including a single mom of 4 committing suicide after taking it because it messes with dopamine.
I am a diabetic my doctor want to prescribe me ozempic she sent it to the pharmacy I went to pick it up but they were all out of it and told me to come back in a couple days to pick it up. So I did some research on Olympic watch women tell me how they took it and made them deathly ill throw up and be nauseous all the time and I said hell no toes Olympic. I have lost 44 lb I'm down to 124 and I did it by watching what I ate I'm watching my blood glucose numbers and I am so happy that I did not take Olympic.
I'm kinda surprised she went so far as to use ozempic. As a wealthy celebrity she surely could afford a nutritionist, the right food, personal trainers etc
I think her issue is that her plastic surgery was done for her heavier face. Now that her face is so thin the plastic surgery no longer is in balance. I'm not sure how easily it would be to repair but I do think that is her issue as opposed to how healthy she is. She(plastic surgeons) has/have altered her face so much I dont think it can reflect her health or illness as a normal face might.
Thanks to the likes of Mrs Osborne and other rich people and celebrities, I can't be prescribed Ozempic as there are a shortage of supplies and they are struggling to get it for those already supplied. I don't want it for vanity or to be skinny enough to get in designer clothes, I need them to help my condition, save my life. I have mobility problems so can't go for walks or do regular exercise and struggle to cook for myself so need help in getting control of a sensible weight, but unless something is done to stop misuse, I will never get the help I need. I can't afford to go and buy it privately.
I just heard a young girls testimony of taking this pill for weight loss and now she can’t even process food anymore 😢 so sad to hear her story and we will hear more of this . People need to remember the pharmaceutical companies are not for you…. they care about their pocketbook not about your health. Please just try and eat clean and exercise and love yourself people ♥️ Only take meds if you will die without it 👍
I am supposed to be on Ozempic. It did help me, medically. My problem is that I cannot get it because it is so popular with the rich and famous that those of us who benefit from Ozempic can not get their prescriptions filled. Thanks.
She lost way too much weight. She lost 42 lbs. I don’t remember seeing or I am seeing it now, or thinking she needed to lose that much weight. I actually didn’t recognize her.
I dont understand how she as an ex colon cancer patient was allowed by doctors to take ozempic. Her digestive system was messed up before so she decided to mess it up even more?
So providers can prescribe this to anyone as they do with all drugs. Off label prescriptions are common, but they were not allowed to prescribe the safest drugs on the market that were around for several decades and are sold as over counter drugs in most country during Covid!!! What's wrong with this picture?
She was very overweight a long time ago but had gastric bypass. Not sure why she used Ozempic distorted body image maybe. It looks like her buccal fat pads have been removed.
Too much weight lost coupled with too many plastic surgeries. The fish lips might not look so bad on a fuller face, for example, but they really look out of place on a very gaunt face. When you're older, it's always better to be a little bit on the chubby side to give the face that fullness that aging diminishes.
Im diabetic i was on ozempic my bloods were coming down, i was loosing weight, i came off some diabetic medication. Now ive had to stop as nhs cant get hold of it & now im back at square 1 😢
Dear Sharon. I was put on a drug that was very similar to Ozempic, Manjaro, or Wegovy it is called Saxenda and it has ended my life. As soon as I got off of it I got a disease called gastroparisis which is an awful disease. My doctor had me on so much medication that had already slowed down my stomach from 4 hours to 12 hours. I ended up with 2 autoimmune diseases after I stopped taking it. My life has ended with this drug. People need to know what a doctor is giving you. My doctor just asked me if I wanted to lose weight and I said yes!! He never went over how to take the drug and left it up to his assistant to tell me how to take it. I have suffered so much pain and I am a mother a grandmother and a wife. When I started it I was 57 years old and l have been to so many doctors that have just swept me under the rug because they don't want to try to fix another doctors mistake as I was told from a stomach doctor who wanted to take out my stomach. I used to have such beautiful hair and I have lost most of it . I am now wearing wigs because I'm not able to eat and get enough protein intake to help my body maintain what my body needs to fuel my body. These drugs are very dangerous to anyone who takes them. Regular doctors should not be giving these kinds of diabetic drugs out just to lose weight. L would love to talk to you because l would like to get the message out to anyone I could help. My doctor has decided to lock his doors on his practice.
I’ve seen this used on friends with type 2 diabetes with excellent results for them but then there were friends that saw the advantage of losing 20 lbs have had horrible affects. Not only causing serious medical problems but physically their bodies and faces look distorted and morbid. As long as big pharma and the medical community can make a profit people will continue to be Guinea pigs because all they see is a thinner person without understanding the consequences of this drug. It’s so unfortunate that those adults and children who need this medication are the ones left to the side cause their is more money to be made on vanity then a cure.
It was prescribed for my Type 2 diabetes, it was a nightmare experience. Even at the dosage of 0.50 mg, once weekly, I still had all the below mentioned side effects: constant nausea, constipation, total lethargy (no energy), day and night severe acid reflux, waking from sleep at 2:00am to convulsively vomit for 1\2 hour, even vomiting during the daytime, then the accompanying low blood pressure from vomiting. My suffering was phenomenal and after 22 injections (5 1/2 months), I wanted my quality of life back. My MD agreed that it was not worth “being miserable”. Within 3 days of stopping Ozempic, my immuno-system was so depressed, I was diagnosed with Shingles although I was fully vaccinated with the Shringrix vaccine. Beware of this medicines’ consequences.
