Sharon Redd was an American disco singer from New York. She is synonymous with Prelude Records, the New York label that released some of the most thrilling dance music of the late '70s and early '80s. Redd released three albums on the label and racked up a number of club hits that have long since become classics with disco and house DJs who continue to rightly view the era with great reverence.

I first met Sharon when she was with Bette Midler in Cleveland Ohio. Then I met her again in New York City it was so sad to hear about how her life ended, rock in peace,💖

We used to dance to this song every time the DJ played it. One of the greatest, most emotional performances to ever grace a Disco recording. RIP to the great Sharon Redd. (PS - Check out Love Insurance & Beat the Street).

Never heard this tuuuuune before....the first time today ... 13th April 2024 ...unlucky for some 😜 ... recognised the voice but didn’t realise it was Sharron ....... a little bit of .....What a Fool Believes is thrown in there?🤔....EVERYONE!!! if you 😍Classic tracks like this ....
