@ llbabygirl1528 Besides the whole Zac Efron being a teen heartthrob during this time. I honestly believe Ashley is one of the main reason why this movie did so well. She scenes with her performing looked a lot more entertaining than the lovey dovey stuff between Zac and Vanessa.
@@angijuan2364not even. Troy is the reason everything went to crap in the second one. He broke every promise and sold out his friends. Sharpay actually helped him. And all she and Ryan did in the first one was test their commitment to theater
@l0wrise_jeans Who says that I care? I wasn’t even a super fan of HSM. I just saw the first one a few times in 2006 out of boredom. And by the looks of it, Sharpay and her brother were way more likable and entertaining than Zac and Vanessa’s lovey dovey story.
Still love the fact she didn't actually discourage Troy and Gabriella from joining the school musical, she even encouraged them to join. In her own Sharpay way of course.
And yet, almost everyone are forgetting the moment. Why does people always complaining about Sharpay being a villain when she's not even a villain? She's just a misunderstood character with self-esteem.
@@natashaing4999 How did she "work hard"? In the first one, she was mostly all talk and did one thing to inconvenience the protagonists. In the second one, she invested all her energy into getting Troy to like her (someone liking you back is not a reward) and she tried to sabotage Ryan after he worked hard to put together a talent show performance.
@ joyafenkhena7774 Besides Troy, what does Gabi have that Sharpay didn’t? That’s right…NOTHING!! She was originally one of the geeky math nerds that popular kids don’t associate with.
