Very nice shooting and awesome permission you have there Richard 👌🏼 would be great to get somewhere like that to get some time behind the rifle and ring some steel. 👌🏼
Dealing with the wind with small high speed rounds is tricky. I know what your talking about, I have my own .17 FB and making long shots on groundhogs here in the states, with hard crosswinds keeps you on your toes. Great shooting!!
Great shooting, I have just recently bought a Fireball after using an HMR for a couple of years. Have found it to be an awesome round and hoping to start reloading soon due to struggling to get ammo!! I'm using 20 grain at the moment. Do you think I can use this round out to 300yd's plus?
Christian sorry for the slow reply mate. Yes the 20gr should do 4000+ and are certainly useful. However the 25gr vmax has a better BC and that really is the bottom line. 300y is doable, sure, but it is easier with the 25grainers. I also found that the 20s didn't feed so well. You're certainly a mile better than HMR now though, either way! :)
