I'm so certain if his wife stayed alive for many more years we would have seen him physically and mentally active in the bollywood film industry sharing screen time with the four Khans, Akshay, Devgan, Shetty, Akshaye, The Deols and his grand nieces (Karishma and Kareena).

Yes true, his last movie Bepahana in 1985, he played his last romantic hero role romancing 25 years younger heroines Poonam Dhillion and Rati Agnihorti, but with in one year after that 1986, he became obese and started doing fatherly roles, that was a shame, he was the fittest of kapoors, he could have lasted as a hero until early 1990s if luck was on his side

Their diet was bad, in their house hold it was all heavy Peshawari food, and after age 40, Kapoors didn't exercise at all, also Shammi and Shashi suffered huge depression after their wives died
