i used to run that shatterdive build exclusively back in 2021. for some reason i never saw anybody do it back then- despite the fact that you could make the glacier cooldown actually genuinely 10 seconds if you used it in conjunction with 10 discipline, bomber, and frostees. for a good 9 month period i probably had more shatterdive kills than gun kills
@Aztecross after reaching like 16 winners, you should stage a knock-out tournament where the builds go head to head to crown the ultimate build and build crafter. Maybe throw in two builds from the same person in the semis and three builds in the finals. Depending on focus being buildcrafter or best overall build.
Gotta give this Hunter credit, using on of the most slept on Hunter exotics that I WISH Titans had, Frosteez.... I never take them off when I do use my Hunter (unless I'm in a raid trying to bump up super DPS.)
Cross, I know you felt like some folks were trolling yesterday, but I genuinely love this build battles idea. It's a brilliant structure to carry through the drought, especially since the one thing we know D2 will mess with between now and Final Shape is the sandbox, which means new builds will be applicable.

Cross you can get double kills with your knee if you change up your fragments and used a weapon with destabilizing rounds and Repulsor brace that way you run around the map making everything explode purple everywhere😂

Torment works much better on this build than durance. Length of time slowed is a non factor, but getting grenade back as fast as possible is key. Unless of course you aren’t getting hit. But I get hit all the time. lol grinded out IB last night with a similar build and consistently hit the 30 kill mark
I love using peregrine greaves but I get super annoyed when they don't lock on to my target and I just fly over them. It's infuriating. I play on Xbox so IDK if it's just a controller issue or not?
Shatterdive needs another minor buff. It's so damn inconsistent. It needs a shatter explosion diameter buff or something. Also, if a build isn't working, why don't you change sh*t up so that it does work for you?
See I see this as balance to an extent.. shatterdive is too "safe" by comparision but less effective. Having said that the tracking and hitbox on that shield charge is nutty. I don't even think peregrine's damage buff is even necessary except for supers but still... damn
Man said "I love getting spawned all the way in the back of the map" bro thats every single map, destiny spawns me in other maps and i gotta run back to the one I'm supposed to playing on.
