Instead of SJ 2011, SJ 2014/2015 was unreal, sidestepping individual brilliance combined with maturity as a halfback. SJ’s 2020 season was very underrated, most try assists, forcing line drop outs, pin point kicking game etc. Can’t wait to see him lace up for the wah’s again
Been living in VIC for the last 13 yrs and supporting the Storm but after watching this interview I want to see the Warriors reach their potential, and with the coach, players and talent they have maybe this is the start. Best podcast and interview I have seen
Damn, this was such an awesome interview. Thanks to Ice and whoever else was involved in setting this up. Thanks to SJ for giving his time as well. He speaks so clear and so well, is quite a good story teller too where you keep listening all the way through. Go the Warriors!
Legit thank you for creating a platform for fans to get to hear the voice of the players. No other media outlet has come close to what you and bloke in a bar does to get the hard facts from players. You guys create a safe space for players to be themselves. Being a dogs fan it hurts that one of my favourite players to watch won’t be joining the dogs army but as a kiwi I’m so proud that he gets to go back to where it all started !! Kiwi kids need more icons like SJ to look up to and know rugby league is a growing sport in New Zealand 🇳🇿
bro Ice someone did you wrong on your wikipedia cuzz - read the 2015, 2016 and 2017 write ups, they a crack up bro. Sad fella who wrote that lol - u the man though g its awesome watching your endeavours and growing continuously
Benji would be the ultimate #14 for the warriors 🤯 1.Walsh 6.CHT 7.Johnson 9.Nikorima 14.Marshall 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Benji running off Murdoch-Masila & Fonua-Blake would be DANGEROUS with Walsh running in behind 🥶🥶🥶
@24min mark . that was really interesting. Shaun thinking he was the passenger, polish on the back end of maloney . bruh if he has that mentality of Maloney coming into the warriors and Walsh being on the back end of him . we are bound to see a 2.0 of Johnson happen this season with Walsh. exciting times for us wah supporters
I always felt for shauny the warriors are my team but they choped and changed the coach and didn’t have good recruiting yet Shaun coped all the blame when the rest of the team let him down and really felt the warriors used him as a excuse for poor team performances I just hope under browny and like of afb etc he has the team to keep him on the front foot
i met SJ in auckland on a school trip he had come off the under 20s win 2010 anyways they were at the olympic stadiium he invited us over for a game of ball and showed us his new phne from vodafone for winning the under 20s comp funny he said he the auzzie story he actually told us cause me and the boys at the time loved touch henry dunn bruce kake and now SJat the time he legit told me he sent the CV to the titans cause they were new and may have had a young crack but got sent back nad yeah the story makes more sense now the man SJ welcome home !
Letting Cleary go was the most ridiculous thing the Warriors management have ever done just to bring in a Mediocre coach and we have never recovered ...
