Tom seems like the kind of guy to come home from a long day of work with flowers just because. He might explain what kind of flowers they are and how to properly care for them (roughly 30 min) but dammit he'd do it. Mad respect for firefighters.
Yeah I really like him but honestly I'm glad that she doesn't see it because I feel like she would chew him up and spit him out she doesn't seem like she has a lot of respect for him at all honestly I think she's just an awful personality to be honest she thinks that everyone owes her something every time someone questions her age because she doesn't look like a child she has a rude attitude about it as if people should just let children come and serve bars and stuff
@@JamiesLife I imagine it's very difficult to exist in a world as an adult when everyone thinks you are a child. And her family has never treated her like she isn't the adult she is. Sure, she seems a bit overly assertive BUT, until we walk around in her shoes, maybe give her a little grace. This world is not kind to people with visible differences for any number of reasons. She's also only 23 yeras old. so many of us thought we knew everything at 23.

Tommy is one of my friends from school I’ve known him my whole life he’s an amazing guy he has the biggest heart and will go above and beyond for the ones he loves 💕
I only seen a few clips of her for what I seen I really don't like her she seems to be a real snot nose little brat and I get vibes that she think she's better than other people I don't know like I said, I haven't seen very much of her just a few clips here and there

I don't think Dan danced bad. I think Shauna made it awkward for him and then only paid attention to other people. She didn't even look up at him while they danced. He seems nice. Tommy also seems very nice.

I feel like she doesn't know how to handle the attention from such a good looking sweet guy and she thinks acting cool and being the mean girl somehow makes her seem more adult, normal. Hopefully her family and friends make her realize that it's immature and it's going to blow her chances of having someone want to be with her.

I've read some things about her unusual condition and a part of it is that she simply acts like a child. When the Pituitary Gland loses it's function, it halts natural progression to adulthood in most ways. So, while you and I will or have grown to completion, and the degernation of the brain takes places after 30, this will happen to her in an entirely different way, if at all. It's more likely that her other organs will shut down before that happens. Dan even said in an interview that she does think like someone much younger than her age. So, the way she processes information is not her fault. And she may be a bit spoiled too. But so what? You all wouldn't have a problem if she had Down Syndrome. She isn't just short, people.

Sorry but the fact that he spotted her online and contacted her on purpose makes me feel uncomfortable since looks are usually the first and most important impression you get online. It would be totally different if they got to know each other by coincidence in real life and he just got to love her for her character and is sort of seeing past her childlike appearence. I think so too. He lights up with her around and he just seems to have that "I like you" look and mannerisms about him. I wish Shauna was able to see that. I have a feeling though that Tommy is looking for someone to settle down with and Shauna seems to want to date. I really hope whomever she ends up with, she is happy. I am kind of suprised that Shauna decided to just stay friends with Tom. He was really sweet. I think she should have given him more of a chance. I understand though if she was not feeling it and I know they kind of have opposite personalities.
Dan or Thomas. That is the question. Thomas. Thomas is more suited for her. On paper that is. Height wise, situation wise. He's been through her life circumstances. Thomas is such a stand up guy. I mean a volunteer firefighter? Good for him. But ultimately, I don't think they would make a good couple. Because Thomas deserves better. Shauna is quite conceited and will not give Thomas the light of day. So, not a good match. He deserves a nice lady who will treat him like gold and treasure him the way he deserves to be. Dan. Dan is not suited for her. Not on paper. Not the same height, nor situation. I get why Shauna is attracted to him. He's full height. Handsome. I get it. I'm not blind. He's charming in a way. But, the question is : why is he attracted to Shauna?! He's adventurous and wants her to experience travel adventures with him. To me, that won't work if one partner has all to offer to the other and not vice versa. It becomes a one-way codependent relationship. In the end, not a good match. But, I would like to see how it turns out. She needs to put relationships on the back burner for now. Establish herself. Get a degree. Whatever she wants. Be it a vet or fashion or whatever. Expand her horizons. Beyond living at her parents. Live her own life. And, after loving herself fully 100% can she start to be in a healthy relationship. Until then, it won't be.

I used to love this show but I’m really bored with it now. Every single thing they do in the show is just something to emphasis her shortness and it’s also about making people confused in public when they see her and the TLC interviews them real quick like “how old do you think she was” so that they get people saying omg she’s 23? I thought she was 10! It’s all for show but it’s getting old and boring. I’d like to see them branch off and actually show shauna getting an education and training and moving on with her life like she claims in every single episode

But yeah I agree they purposely set her up in situations that would create drama for the show. Like how last season they sent her to the beach in a bikini on purpose so strangers could see all her tattoos. Then they interviewed the strangers to create more drama and stereotypes. We get it. She’s short. And that guy she went on a blind date with was so awesome and she was SO rude to him. He wasn’t told she was short, but he was told she had a disability and he still agreed to meet her and he seemed genuinely nice and she just was horrible to him. They constantly go back and forth about her dating. I can kind of relate to Shanua. I am very short and have always looked so young! When I was 18 I looked like a 10 year old . It was horrible in high school lol. However, it is great now that I am in my thirties. However, those teen and even my twenties were tough.
girl i feel u. i’ve always been really small for my age. even now i look 10 instead of 14. perhaps even 9 with baggy clothing (under 12s discounts? hell i get under 10s). it’s pretty brutal at school ngl. most people are so damn condescending including the teachers. yes they do stick up for me but it feels like i’m some helpless little kid. the only people attracted to me are primary school children who ofc tower over me too. i seem to have stopped growing two years ago as well 😢 (4’7 for life maybe)
