Very nice Mark. Yea it was designed by charcoal but not sure where it is manufactured. I think they should have had it made in USA for that price and the theme but hey if it shaves well and the tolerances are tight that’s what matters. I always did like the NEW style so I really like that. We’ll she how she shaves in an upcoming video. My first order in all of wetshaving was from west coast shave in 2009. A Merkur progress and some proraso green cream with a blade sampler pack. It was founded and owned by John Koontz I believe at the time. And since sold. The story goes he started selling blade sampler packs on a forum and turned it into a business which turned into WCS. He was great to talk to and helped me. I got my first brush from the Vintage Blade - Rooney 3/1 silvertip badger and still have it actually. It is small by todays standards at 22mm but works great. Ah youGot me down memory lane. That is a rather attractive new razor, Mark. It also allegedly has the magic combination of mildness and effectiveness. Congratulations on getting on sale AND on managing yo evade taxes and import duty. I am looking forward to seeing this one in action.

Mark...I received this razor a few weeks ago and in a word, it's fantastic! The base plate and top cap appear to be the original CG design of several years ago. Shave is mild and it is definitely efficient. I also bought the razor for $145 and have since ordered the version with a 3" handle. Seems that West Coast Shaving is reintroducing the razor again with handles that they carried a few years ago. All the best and keep up the great videos.

Nice razor Mark! I like that it is similar to a Gillette New 😎👍 I recently was gifted a Gillette New Bostonian long comb by my brother. It shaves great but the razor and box are beat up, so it has character 😉👍 I'm still not sure what exact year its from since there is no patent number on the base plate. I was wondering if yours had a number or if you know when the razors with no numbers were produced? My best guess is early 1930's but I'd love to find out what years these were made. It looks the same as yours does; gold color, long comb, same scalloped base plate. If you or anyone reading this could shed some light on this I would be grateful 😀 Have a good one! Steve

Looks a bit odd at the top with that change in diameter, almost looks like it isn’t screwed in enough.
