I like that she says she’s loving her from afar because the mother is still toxic. Toxic people are dangerous to be around and dangerous to have around. Wisdom teaches you who you should have in your space and who you should not. She loves her mom but at a distance…..Forgiveness does not mean you have be around the person who would continue to pry open the wounds that they have already created! Ouch! Forgiveness means you harbor no animosity and you choose to let ill feelings for them go. This is so you can be healthy and lead a productive life. Harboring hatred and resentment affects the person who’s carrying it. So forgive and love but don’t let that person who created the problems in your life, in the first place back in your life until they have experienced a complete total transformation where they are no longer that same harmful and toxic person.
