Today was the first day I missed reading your quote. Surprisingly I learned the same thing today about setting spiritual goals. Start small, surround yourself with like-minded people who will motivate you, don’t wait for perfect circumstances, create opportunities, don’t be discouraged by setbacks because those are learning lessons, and pray about what you want to accomplish.

The doctors did an amazing job and he is doing great..... but something like that makes you stop and think about what is really important in life. I got laid off this summer and I am trying to stay positive as I look for my next opportunity as I look at 50 coming around the corner. I feel I still have something to contribute but it seems that is working against me but I am going to keep on keeping on.
Don’t give up! I was laid off at the age of 56 and my age was hindrance for a time, but God! He opened a door for me at a major corporation. I had the background and the skills they were looking for and wanted to hire me on the spot. I started working there within 3 weeks. Great is His Faithfulness!

She still has a lot of hair after that trim. It's beautiful! I haven't had heat in my hair is over 3 years. I was transitioning from a perm relaxer to natural. I did the big chop at first. After that small trim"s only sometimes. Thanks,Teresa GOD BLESS!

Incoming long comment... Just got a trim the other day. There’s something so therapeutic about getting a haircut and watching you cut/style hair. I don’t like a lot of ASMR, but I like the sound of scissors or knives chopping food 😅 I just noticed your tattoo (1 Corinthians 16:14). So true. You talking about setting goals, going after your dreams was a part of our Sunday service this morning. And when you have a setback, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Get back up and try again. I’m not good at motivating myself, but I have to constantly rely on God to get to where I need to be. As far as my summer, I’ve become such a homebody 😅 with this heatwave, I want to stay cosy in the a/c.

Omg the scissors sounded so good. Also seeing this cut was very satisfying. I love when women do the cuts so theres no sparce section in the hair. Im glad she let you cut it to where her haor looks so much more full. It looked so good after the cut. Fyi you should do an asmr with the scissors, the hot comb in the hair and hearing the flat iron closing.

My summer: I didn't take any trips this year, a lot of heavy stuff in the family! But, like yourself I did get a few concerts in. Going to Beyonce tomorrow Monday, excited to see her for the first time. And, next month I see Tamia, I'm more excited about that Beyonce! Do you do just family and close friends hair only?
