As a dad of three daughters, both you Stephanie are great role models. I try to instill in my girls that there are no barriers; only challenges. Love your videos Iona!
A great video, what a lovely lady and a good golfer, her passion shines through almost with every shot, Iona you played great again. Cant wait for the next video.
Thank you for sharing this game with Stephanie. Her discription of fitting clubs and driver heads to the player made me a fan of Titleist. Great stuff. And great play. Larry
Love playing in California. Played my first round in 32 years at Mission Hills (two and a half years ago), in Palm Springs. Parred only 2 holes of 18, but it was enough to set me on fire. Thanks! Great video.
Tea in hand, with another great drop by my friend from Scotland. Welcome to the States! Hope you enjoyed the golf, cuisine and friendships made! No one entertains and digs into others thoughts like You!!! Chef’s Kiss to the production crew and yourself.
Amazing video, lovely play by you both. My wife and I managed to play both courses at Torrey Pines on our California Pacific highway road trip a few years back - as reported tough courses but we were impressed that they were still run as a municipal and we got a $ off due to staying at the lodge. Keep up the great work Iona - loving the Chase the Red series.
Absolutely love this video! Thank you for putting another banger together for us, Iona/crew! Stephanie, go blue, one female ME to another! Cheers On The Road, Stephanie, and to Iona, my forever favorite!❤
I've played every course in the San Diego area many times. It is a golfers paradise, both for the courses and more so for the weather, which rivals anywhere on the planet. Grand Del Mar wouldn't be my first choice. Nice hotel, but the course is a bit tortured. But I'll assume that since you traveled that far you will try to play some others in the area. There are some absolute peaches. No matter what course you play it is a massive pleasure to watch you and listen. You are exceptional as an interviewer and announcer, knowledgeable and inviting.
Enjoyed the conversation with Stephanie. Super that she is a Wolverine since it my adopted favorite school. Great 9 holes played as well. Thank you again for an excellent video.
Golf RU-vidrs invariably leave me plain sad as they expose all my inadequacies! lol Whereas Iona’s videos at least make me smile and appreciate the sunny good fortune of just being on a golf course. Thank you Iona 😀🌞
As I've written previously, I have a video of Iona's swing on my iPhone and watch it whenever I play or practice -- just trying to match her tempo and consistency.
As always a lovely video. A follow up to the chat you have on course regarding fitting. How different have you felt the proces going to Woburn, other Titleist fitting facilities or local experience pro club fitter? I enjoy going to fittings and may eventually want to go to Woburn, but apart from my game which could use an improvement or two, I would like to hear your experience regarding the different types :D Keep up the good work both on air and on youtube.
What a great interview, Iona. And such a lovely golf course to trip around. Stephanie has a real passion for her work; and along with the design team they put together a great product. Almost in the red as an added bonus! What's next?
Loved this video. Found the conversation to be super interesting and I learned a lot. Plus I'm a sports and maths girl, can relate so much to this content. Keep it up Iona, best channel on RU-vid.
What a great video so interesting hearing Steph's perspective on clubs are for everyone not a specific gender that's how it should be. As a high handicapper I've always struggled with driver until I got my Titleist TSi Driver I've never hit more straight drives in my life than with that club, for years I avoided driver and just used 3W but now it's my favourite club in the bag.
It's just a joy to watch your fluid swing, and straight hitting, in stark contrast to the Neanderthal heaves I've just practiced at the driving range. As David Feherty once said: "He has a swing like a drunk Octopus falling out of a tree" (referring to Jim Furyk)
Great video as always. Nice to see women being highlighted, especially online which like real world is very male dominated. Love your swing, so smooth which got me thinking. You said you tried to qualify for AIG open this year, but struggled with time (excuse, but we can forgive you). Have you approached SKYSPORTS to see if they would be interested in doing a recording following your 2025 attempt? Give's Sky & yourself content, plus will give you chance to have time to commit to it properly. Might make a nice short series of videos, seeing your practice, get lessons, qualifying, interviews etc etc. Either way, good luck for your attempt in 2025, and who knows, maybe we might get to see you in the starting field.
It seems so long since the last full on course video, but well worth the wait.... Did you get to spend any time with Me and My golf while you was there Iona.?
Iona, honestly I was disappointed when the round came to an end. I could have watched you both play 36 engrossed in the golf and conversation. You keep smashing them outta the park gal. 👍🏻⛳️❤️
Hope no actual cats were scalded in the making of this video 😂 I have a question about ‘boon-di’ what is the right way to spell it and where does it come from?
Club fitting is a complete sham. I like Iona but she has no idea about the crappy club fitting that amateurs have access to. None of the pros or you tubers have time limits on their fitting and they also get a chance to change things like Iona has done if it doesn’t fit.
My RU-vid golf go too’s Iona for great conversation, content and the straightest driving on this media! Peter Finch for all things golf Sophie Walker for instruction
