@Mynameis Mine Salam, I did say no, before/ straight after the marriage and every opportunity I got in-between but I had no choice. As I said in. My initial comment they arranged the marriage and they told me I had to live with him and after my marriage they said to carry on living with him despite the fact he clearly stated he didn't want me. I even got a council flat and they wouldn't let me live in my own place nor would they let me work in the girl school and made me leave that part time job. I wasn't allowed to return to college. The only options I had at 17 year old was to marry him or end up in a black bag in the canal. As stipulated by my big brother. It was not because I was a bad girl but simply because I was born a girl. I was quiet, and God fearing person. But nevertheless I was born a girl and the honourable thing was in my culture to marry me off. After marriage the only option I got had was to live with him or if he gave me a divorce I would then be forced to to marry a 60 year old man. For a 17 year old girl those were not really options.

My dad tried to push me into a marriage like that too. I had to really stand up for myself

They look for if narrator was mentally stable, good character, doesn’t lie. How many version of that story is out there. Nothing was written and compiling got done after 100 years. We have so many fabricated hadees, weak once and contradictory to quran and sunnha. That’s a whole new area and people has done so much work. Past 1300 years and still doing it. I have very little knowledge allha knows better.

I found out my husband had not long been in jail for attempted murder months into my marriage at a time where I was also heavily pregnant, he had stabbed his neighbour 5 times, ( also many other violent convictions on his record) I found out due to the fact that the authorities had gotten involved after the public had called the police on my husband after witnessing him abusing me in the street ( whilst i was pregnant) wasn't the first time, wasn't even the first time the police were called, During my short marriage, I found out my husband smoked cannabis everyday multiple times a day, he didn't provide for me, weeks would go by where there was nothing in the kitchen, his family would bully me and had a key to our flat where they would just let themselves in, even while we were asleep, my husband never defended me rather he blamed all on me, even though by Allah I never said a bad word to his family, my husband had haram relationships with women, and wanted me to mix freely with his friends and his male cousins, I can't remember the amount of times I had to convince him to NOT stab people as he walked around with a pocket knife and would literally turn on randomers in the street if he was in a bad mood and pull his knife on them, he was controlling disrespectful, told me to fuck off three days into our marriage, NEVER PAID ME A MAHR despite agreeing to... I was living with this man for a year, I could write a book at how corrupt and evil he was....I left the marriage, alhamdulliah recently he has come to my city, where i now reside and tried to kick down my mothers front door, my family had to call the police, Yeah i'm getting a divorce and bearing the burden of raising my child alone, don't be so judgemental!!

That condition should be in your marriage contract and be made known to the person you are marrying. Otherwise you are committing a major sin

Yes I agree. I subscribed to this channel as I find the brother speaks truth and I accept as a woman and as a human there are going to be things that are hard for me to hear. However, where's the videos on forced marriage? Forced expectations ie serving/slaving after the in laws at the expense of her own family? Nowadays people discuss polygyny before marriage and if he swears that he will not take another wife while they're married then he is obligated to stick to that, or if he signs a marriage contract that has a polygyny clause, he should abide by it! Breaching a covenant (the nikkah) is a huge sin.

Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen carefully to what I am saying and take these words to those who could not be present here today." "O People! just as you regard this month, this day ,this city as sacred ,so regard the life and property of every Muslim a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that he will indeed reckon your deeds." As part of this sermon, the prophet recited to them a revelation from Allah, which he had just received, and which completed the Quran, for it was the last passage to be revealed: This day the disbeliever's despair of prevailing against your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me (Allah)! This day have I perfected for you, your religion and fulfilled My favor unto you, and it hath been My good pleasure to choose Islam for you as your religion. (Surah 5, Ayah 3) The sermon was repeated sentence by sentence by Safwan's brother Rabiah (RA), who had powerful voice, at the request of the Prophet and he faithfully, proclaimed to over ten thousand gathered on the occasion.
