Some Pinay now want financial sponsors but are not interested in a physical relationship. I think they think they are in Thailand. I've seen some of my wifes young cousins and they want the foreigners money but do not want to give anything back. I can also tell you these same women have boyfriends or separated. Get as much information about a girl before you send money on regular basis.

When I first went there to meet jessa. She was waiting at the airport. Later that day i met her parents. Her mother flipped out when she heard i was staying in a hotel. "You are our guest. Guests stay in our house, not in hotel. Cancel now na!" I wanted to give her the money i was paying for the hotel and that started another argument. Instead i just took my own initiative on what the house didn't have and i bought it. They have never asked me for anything. Even now we are married. A high quality woman with a decent family behind her can be very very rewarding

Mike you nailed it again. I am the biggest sucker for a sad story. I got taken by a family of a sister raising two younger sisters and three children. I paid for medical treatments (reoccurring TB), dental care, dentures, school clothes, laptops for school, an aircon unit, rent, electric bill and water bills, food, transport, for 8 months plus a motorcycle and two college tuitions... only to be told they were all too busy to meet me when I got to the Philippines. I even went to the address I was shipping gifts and they didn't live there... this Filipina must have a PhD in scamming.

I have spent the past seven years here after having spent 4 years in the 80s while serving in the Navy. There are great Filipinas, however, for every one of them there are ten who get remittances from as many as five guys at a time. I have personally seen them at the window getting a stack of remittances from several countries and THEN get on the back of their Filipino boyfriend's motorcycle. Believe me. It happens. Don't contribute to that.

Great video. As much as it pains me to say, I learned the hard way with a woman that I had lived with two years in the Dominican Republic but had not gone to see her in awhile as I was transferred back to Hawaii to work. We were engaged and I continued to send her money and she convince me to buy her a used car this November and when it was time for me to go visit her right before Christmas, she broke up with me after we had made plans to get an AirBnB and spend Christmas together I'm still mentally recovering from that one. From now on until I am with a woman and even during I am going to be a tight wad because a little to us is a lot to them.

More than likely! The past meetings count for little. I had a 3yr LDR (with many meetings) with a province girl, even got a visa for her to visit me. Sweet, cute, soo angelic looking. But yes long story short is that our history didn't count for anything, turned out she was cheating with a local BF for at least the last year she was officially with me. Started even before our final meeting! So it's highly likely she was seeing the local guy during the day while she was meant to be in collage, and while I waited at our Airbnb. Anyway they don't care about opportunities like visas or overseas life sometimes when they have a local BF to ride. For her the combined cost of the visa/flights was simply money she didn't get out of me to spend on her BF or family. She's another stat now, pregnant to a guy with no job and disowned by her family for what she squandered. Just be smart and trust your gut, when interest goes, you know! don't hang on.

I get a Lechon pig for my mother in law and father in law for New years cost me $140.00 dollars that includes the guy that delivers it to the guy that cooks it and brings it to the house when done. So $300 is way to much for a pig. I can't wait to get back to negros Oriental. To eat Lechon ❤️

This same story could be construed as (for long distance relationships) "she can't find time to call" when you are sick or experiencing difficulties, or "she can't find time to be there to even answer whatsap messages" even though she ""insists"" on communicating via whatsap messages most of the time. I usually respond immediately, but not this 'one' with her expensive cellphone and no job. She doesn't have the time, you see. Mike, you explained what the reality is about relationships with many of these women, which perhaps many of us guys did not want to believe. It's the same for Filipinas or those in Latin America, although it seems like the Filipinas are slightly more sophisticated in their game. Getting occasional whatsap messages is not a relationship.

Just last week, my aunt told me that her friend's son was talking to a filipina online. Same story,he was sending her money, but when he flew over there to meet her, she didn't show up at the airport. He was so distraught that he got back on the next available flight and didn't even try to make the best of a bad situation. 💔🏝🇵🇭

@@mikesphilippineretirement I was in Chiang Mai for 16 months, the majority of women I met there will only talk and meet with you if your in country and they will tell you up front for the most part what there expectations are. It could a pittance or a larger amount, basically a business proposition, very different then Filipinos, I was married to a Filipina for 23 yrs and divorced her for exactly the reasons you mentioned in your vlog. You definitely have a good channel with lots of good practical and sound advice.

This is such an important video. I’m at a loss bc of “my” Filipina chatmate. I keep wondering if she’s playing the long game with me? She doesn’t ask for money, but I sent her a small amount a few time just bc I felt like it. When we chat, she just listens politely. She’s not chatty. Always quiet and sweet. She knows I cannot move to the Philippines. I’m going to meet her later this year. We only vc 1-2 a week. I’m just very cynical. Want to be with her, but just cannot feel secure. There are good ones, probably 8 out of 10. My girl, she didnt ask for money, I noticed she started looking bad. I inquired and she was seriously ill. Her condition required some special treatment, I paid. She provided all receipts, I didnt have to ask. She continued working the entire time as well. I do pay for load due to our twice a day VC habit. I have all her social media. Both parents and siblings work. She makes 4800php a month working six days a week. Never complains. I will be there next month to scout CDO and spend a few weeks with her. I will be moving there the end of 2024. Just use your brain men. If they treat you like an ATM, drop them.

She was working in Hong Kong at that time, that is also where I met her. The next 3 years we saw each other for about 3 weeks in the Philippines during here yearly vacation. She was working in HK to get her children through highschool and university.

@@mikesphilippineretirementIm sure there are good and bad women all over the world. The trick is being able to recognise a bad one as quickly and cheaply as possible. I understand that there are guys who after being alone for so long become motivated by their emotions which unfortunately blocks intellectual thought processes and causes them to miss glaring red flags. Those of us looking on unencumbered by emotion scratching our heads as to why the poor guy could have been so dumb. I personally am from the group of men that dont get emotionally entangled very easily so can spend time during the initial phase of a relationship analyzing whats actually going on. After many years of chatting online with literally thousands of girls, I have developed a technique of filtering out the obvious scammers. Im very happy with the Philipina Im with now whom you and Janet met. She only asks for advice, never money. Time will tell right?

You need to do these talks at a table, and have small red flags that you can bring out every time a warning comes up. Better make sure you have enough flags for the whole conversation, lol. You can never warn guys enough, we're stubborn and think we know better than so many other people that have had bad experiences. We're as bad as women sometimes, "we can change him/her".

Ha! I signed up for the free part of christian Filipina. Every day I get a half dozen profiles of extremely tempting girls seeking a significant other (allegedly). It is difficult to resist but, so far, after 3 years of these incoming tempting profiles, my resolve is even stronger to NOT engage in any way until I arrive in CEBU and ready to retire.
