I won’t spoil anything about what happens, in case you want to watch it. During the show, one of their missions was to produce, lyricize, and choreograph their own song, and that song was Hellevator. So that song isn’t necessarily a “debut” song, more like a predebut. They finally debuted in 2018, with the song District 9. Their main concept has always been to “stray” from the norm, or the break away from standards of society, which is why some of their songs have a dark, unique sound. Sorry I couldn't stop laughing when you said Felix instead of Bang Chan but I know it was a mistake and it's ok. To help with the story (This is what i picked up and might not be right): District 9 (debut)It seems like a prequel from hellevator. They're trapped by the government and are forced to be perfect (maybe a metaphor to the kpop industry) they're all are wearing the same clothes and doing the same thing. They're brainwashed into the same system. Then a glitch comes (stays speculate it to be felix) and it breaks the system. They escape. Hellevator (pre-debut) After they escape the system they feel bad for all the other people that didn't escape. Jisung tries to go back and save them but the other members go with him. My Pace- They go and see the other ppl who escape and do some sort of race (I didn't pick up much from it) I Am You- They say goodbye to everyone and try and stay hidden from the government, they spend time together as they haven't done that for quite a while. Miroh- They go to ambush the government and talk to the people about what the government were doing. Side effects- They go down the Hellevator again and end up in Yellow wood. They had two options either to go on a coach or not. They choose not too and that gives them side effects including, Headaches and Hallucination. My theory is that Hyunjin (The one in the headband) is the only one who can see what's actually going on while the others see a paradise that's why seungmin was taking a picture and hyunjin took it off him. Also at the end when hyunjin was sleeping I think he threw the key in the water and fell asleep so when they were all running that could've been a dream. This is just what I picked up hope it helps :) Btw Felix is the one with the deep voice. He's also australian

11:14 Imma go ahead and explain the whole music video to you...and it's very loooong so grab some popcorn oop The video starts with them deciding not to take the bus, unlike what the teaser had shown us. They, however look bright and assured that they have made a right choice and they happily proceed down the other direction. Only hyunjin seems to look a little hesitant, lost, his smile fading as he trails behind. He seems to be the only one that is doubting their choice. The sky has two moons, which can be a symbol of two things: a magnificent holiday or total unhappiness. They find their ride: an abandoned, rusty pickup truck. I don't know what exactly happens between hyunjin and felix, but it seems that felix is sure about this choice, hyunjin is afraid but seems to be convinced by felix's assuring nod. They load the truck and set off. Note the lyrics during the first verse of hyunjin and felix: Felix represents the outer conviction and bravado one has when making a decision, hyunjin represents the inner trepidation and insecurities. While the boys are thrilled at first, they quickly realise that the trip won't be as easy as they thought. (no idea what that red thing in the grass is tho). They are racing with time, to get to their destination before they run out of fuel, and the mood grows sombre. Some members are, however, keeping a positive outlook. Hyunjin, however is riddled with fear and insecurity. Felix remains enthusiastic, excitedly trying to clamber out of the roof to take a look at the scenery, but hyunjin irritatedly pulls him back. Thus builds the tension. Their plans, quite literally, come to a screeching halt as they discover that the road to their destination has been blocked. They are at a loss. They're in the middle of nowhere, and they don't have enough fuel to go back to where they began. One member (Seungmin) however, doesn't seem to understand the gravity of the situation they are in. Seungmin is nonchalantly and happily taking photos as if they were on a pleasant little field trip (at least that's what it looks like he's doing, to hyunjin) and hence hyunjin snaps. This escalates to a fight and the members rush in to intervene. Hyunjin is sick of the members' happy-go-lucky attitudes and they break of in a daze, wondering what just happened. A map reveals that there is a breach in the fence, and recovering from their explosions of yension, the boys quietly pile up in the van again and proceed onwards on their journey, and as they drive on, it becomes apparent that they were being watched by an unknown entity. Night falls and the boys grow increasingly tired and sleepy, particularly minho, who has been tirelessly driving the 9 boys without rest. Jisung looks out the window to spot their destination along the horizon, and he smiles serenely, believing that they would reach in no time. But alas, their vehicle gives away, and the 9 boys are utterly stranded. The moment of peace gives the boys a moment to reflect on themselves: jeongin assuring hyunjin that they weren't angry at him and minho comforting a guilty felix (he was the one who decided to ride the truck). Something approaches from a distance: it was the bus they could have taken for the first time, we can see what they could have been like if they had taken it: peacefully asleep without a care. They are given the chance to take the bus again, but they realise something was wrong. They were peaceful; almost too peaceful. The boys quickly understand that they were being watched by people with nefarious intentions and they quickly book it down the field to escape from the entities that are trying to kidnap/get rid of them. As they finally escape, hyunjin lies alone in the grass, wracked with sorrow and shame for being the one that wanted to get on the bus (and potentially get them into deep danger) he's convinced that his members hate him, but they crowd around him with smiles, forgiving hyunjin and they walk, further and further away from civilisation. They have nowhere to go, true. Their one true hope for a safe space in the new world has been rudely robbed away. But hey, as long as they are together, they'll be okay, right..? A key lies alone in the middle of a pond. There is still hope for them. A new key to a new world. District 9 is their debut song but, they have a predebut song called "Hellevator" it was on their predebut album called "Mixtape". They released 5 albums and one predebut album. Meaning they have 6 albums already in the span of now and from their debut in March 2018. They are a pretty new group

All their title tracks and albums have stuck true to their concept and name, which only a few groups could do (ateez, monsta x) and I appreciate that. Like they are "stray" so that means they are everywhere and young kids going through a lot and side effects solidifies that. I'm sad that I didn't like side effects at first this was around the time the whole bang chan issue came out and so I wasn't there for this comeback, I ignored it and even said bad comments abt the album before it dropped because I was mad. But after a while he apologized and so did I for being dumb like asf because I really love them, I realized it when I recently watched their Grow Up music video and it reminded me of my genuine affection for them and why I became a stay in the first place (my pace era) so its above me now. I gave Side Effects a few more listens and it grew on me, now I love it so much its so fun 😭😭😭😭😭😭. I hate myself.

District 9 is out of this world, believe me, you'll have a problem by choosing your bias, because in District 9 they look amaizing and sound very powerful. Hellevator is very nice song, but more sensitive if I can say that. When I heared District 9 I had a shook because of Felix's voice, sounds like robot very deep but is his voice actually. I like all of them, but always there are a few who come to me:Changbin, Woojin, Bang Chan, Felix and Seungmin. All of them are very talented and cute.

You should definitely react to their earlier stuff, my personal favorite is “voices”! There is an ongoing storyline that’s really amazing, lots of symbolism, both in the videos and songs. I don’t know how much of an hand the members have in making the music videos but they do write most of their own music/lyrics!
