I unfortunately know someone who had a baby with her stepdad when she was like 18. He raised her for half of her life, so you know he was abusing her. I worked with her and her mom, and her mom was mad at HER and would talk about how shes a b*tch and stole her man. Such a sad situation. Her siblings are actually half siblings with her child while also being aunts and uncles. Before anyone asks, no this is not in the South.

Listen my cousin did this to her mom. It was family scandal. They lived together. Step-dad chef at upscale restaurant. My aunt hard working woman. Cousin gets pg at @17. Has baby. Oh did I mention they all lived together? Cousin would go out partying and gallavanting while step-dad stayed home and babysat. He was older than my aunt so about 30 or so years older than my cousin. Other people saw it and told my aunt. Denial more denial then it was admitted to. They get divorced, he moves in with cousin and she spent all his money, ran on him. Lost his job ended up living in trailer park. Then cousin threw his old ass away. Both skanks for doing that to my aunt.

It seems like the writer of the story made sure everyone knew the daughter was ADOPTED to lighten the blow or make it feel less weird that a step-dad was hooking up with and impregnated his stepdaughter, which just makes it feel that much more creepier to me
