Real nice to stumble across your channel Sharon. I was drawn here for the bike review. I’m sure the 900 rally pro will be my next bike purchase. Your outlook on a positive life is common ground for me also. I survived acute myeloid leukaemia back in 2014 with to date, a 50/50 chance of it returning. Sometimes it bothers me but rarely do I let it. Live life to the fullest, love wha5 you love, and best part of biking is the amazing humans we meet on our travels. Sending love and big hugs… ❤️🌹❤️

The heated seat & grips are fantastic when you live in the cold North West of England. I've ridden all through winter and am looking forward to some better weather in Spring.

I got a new 2023 900 Rally Pro. I was told by the dealership that the tire pressure monitor warning has some issues eventually. Ive not had any until this week (9 mths so far) and keep getting the warning light on regardless of the tire pressure..I've tried high, low, medium within the range, out of range and it's just on "rear" all the time now. I've made a ton of mods and tons of accessories on my bike. Also a Mosko Moto fan.

I love my Tiger 900 GT Pro. I tri and keep the tire pressure at 36 front and 42 rear cold. The warning when pressure gets just a little low is a necessary annoyance. Never had an issue with the kickstand.

I bought the GT Pro at the end of last year. Very impressed with the low end torque, very rarely do I have to shift down on the back roads.

Capped off, with an injury to my right knee { not bike related }, which required surgery, rehab etc. Been nearly six months now, without getting out for a ride, and it's really killing me. Thing also, i've really lost my mojo. Two deaths, a wife in hospital, and a knee injury, will do that to you. Your story though, gives me hope, that i too, will get back out there soon too. Guess that's the main reason, i subscribed today??😉

Pick up a kick stand foot. They attach to the current foot and make it much easier to put up and down IMO

Sorry to hear about the health problems, positivity is the best way to go. As for me I have an as yet undiagnosed long term health issue (more tests at the Weekend) which is very frustrating, but I continue to plod along still doing stuff like videos albeit more slowly. Your title was perhaps a bit TOO click baity at least for here in the Uk. Don't want the wrong types dropping by. 😉

Great encouraging video with a positive message. Recently battling a challenging heath issue of my own and an owner of a 900 gt I can relate. When I can I get on the bike and head out to clear my head and put things in perspective. This is my first adventure bike and can honestly say I have no regrets in my choice. Enjoy your new Tiger.

Try a can of Fix-A-Flat to seal the tire I have used it on my two type sidecar Wheels and I got nine thousand miles out of the tire. Or try putting some slime in the tire through the valve stem that should also take care of that problem as well as balance the tire better. I knew an old guy who started riding motorcycles before World War 1 and you got really practiced fixing flat tires because of all of the shoe nails that will come out of the horses shoes.

New Triumph ball have a shim type valve adjustment system which is very difficult for owners to do their selves therefore you have to take it to the dealer which is expensive. Chain drive is both expensive to maintain and replace when needed. A belt drive on my Sportster last over 100,000 miles and is as easy to replace as an endless chain. Bikes nowadays should have hydraulic valve adjustment to eliminate the need for periodic valve adjustments whether done by the owner or the dealer. Having to bring the bike to the dealer for valve adjustments is another way for them to squeeze money out of us curse

Sorry to see the bolt in the rear tire, but if your intending to do anything off pavement, ditch the OEM tires. Don't get me wrong, they are great street tires. And might be adequate for hard pack gravel. Beyond that, it'd be better to have something closer to a 50/50 tire. I had a great time riding the CO-BDR on my Tiger 900 Rally a couple years ago. I think it'll be a good traveling partner for you. Enjoy!

Same thing happened to me with a new bike years ago, only a few rides and needed a new one. Think of it as an opportunity to put the exact tires you want for your riding.

I got a 1200 rally pro, so far so good, of course in black as i am a harley guy! Haa. Enjoy.

Go to a shoe repair guy have him put a half soul and he'll on your boots and that might give you the extra lift you need to stand flat footed. Try it is cheaper than lowering your bike.

There's nothing wrong with your tire sensor. If you put air instead of nitrogen the pressure will rise when the tire gets hot and will set off the sensor. Lower the air pressure by 5 pounds max cold. And it won't go off again Or fill your tires with nitrogen. Nitrogen is inert.

Ok gotta share this. Years ago I got pulled into a weigh station. The officer and I went through the questions to see what I knew about my equipment From memory I had to answer the following questions to finish my inspection.. cargo I hauled, order of stops, location of customers, trailer number, trailer license plate, truck number, carrier DOT number, ICC carrier number, truck license plate, my drivers license and last item I had to recite FROM MEMORY…. Tractor VIN number IN FULL and exact order, nothing missing. He looked a bit upset because he would have lost a $100 because I passed my exam and was closing my books to hand them back to me. He said, “Well since you gave all the information correctly from memory. I guess you are not on drugs since I do not know anyone who ever memorized their own trucks 17 character alpha numeric code serial number by heart.” As to why he was upset… well… One officer offered to bet him a hundred dollars I would get the last one right because he saw my inspector smiling as he asked me to recite my tractors serial number believing I would get the numbers wrong as he was holding my book up so I could not read it as I was reciting it from memory. He refused the bet and told me to give the information. Without missing a beat I recited the VIN in full without any error.He then noticed,along with the other officers inside the scale house, that I was doing everything I could to not let anyone read the back of my shirt. So he said in order to get my paperwork back, I had to turn around and let them read it. I apologized and said it was nothing personal or intentional. They said that was fine, and as DOT inspectors do, he emphasized again to turn around so they could read the back of my shirt and the other officers in the scale house joined him in the emphasis. Not wanting to disappoint an audience, I turned around and my with my back to the officers my inspector read my shirt aloud ….for all to hear…… “No officer I DON’T KNOW WHY YOU PULLED ME OVER! I sure hope you do! Because now my load is late and my medication is wearing off!! NOW HURRY UP BEFORE I PASS OUT!!’ Never heard a group of officers laugh out loud like they did but my inspector had a good laugh as he returned my papers and sent me on my way. Not being one to miss an opportunity to ask a good question, I asked my inspector “So , are you glad you did not accept his hundred dollar bet sir?” He smiled and laughed and sent me on my way.
