I'm going to guess that she had a terrible attitude already and that's why she was fired. The fact that she can watch this and think she did nothing wrong is THE problem.
Her boss was probably ecstatic to see this video. He/She was like "Finally! We can get her out of here on something!" Her former coworkers probably threw a party at work the next day.
There is a difference in walking in and letting them know that your order was incorrect and making a mess and screaming like a toddler. She deserves every bit of it. 👏🏻
For real! Even if you’re a little irritated beforehand you still NEVER take it out on the employees. There’s been times when I’ve been irritated and I go to order something and yet I can still be polite. And if something is messed up, I don’t go in there screaming my head off and slamming food everywhere. No, I talk to them like actual human beings
Right. I've been soo polite about a wrong order that I was given a free food item a few times. People make mistakes and should be given a stress-free opportunity to correct it when possible.
At a time when the service industry is suffering from record low recruitment, this lady will run off good servers from the food industry as well. May all her cheat meals from that day forward be inundated with extra ketsup!
She wanted extra ketchup. She got extra ketchup. She did not want extra ketchup. Reminds me of those "funny reasons why my toddler is throwing a tantrum" articles.
It's hilarious to see her frame the story like she came up all meek and calmly told them her order was wrong when she literally threw a temper tantrum over a sandwich like it was the end of the world. 🙃
@mjanny6330 This has the same energy of "People are starving in Africa, so others can't ever say their hungry." Just because worse can happen doesn't mean this isn't bad.
The most insane part to me is that in her mind she thinks all she was doing was "letting the employees know they made a mistake". This is what no dick will do to a mf
Idk, as a former retail manager, if I had a customer facing employee who ended up in a viral video online behaving like this, I'd need a really good reason NOT to fire them for it. Its not gonna be my problem if a customer comes in and recognizes that employee and decides they don't want to do business with me, its gonna be the employee's problem and whoever they manage to find to hire them despite it.
I agree with you SallyMars. I am willing to bet she has 'Lost It' at work as well. If the gal wanted more ketchup on her burger then she needed to use the Ketchup Packets then do it herself. The workers cannot Read Minds as to how much EXACTLY she wants on her burger.
Oh dear! Karen learns (apparently for the first time in her sad life) that actions have consequences. Wonderful to see that the 'Karma train' hit her right on cue.
@@Wildflower-xe8sn That’s what I said. She’s got some nerve getting mouthy with that Howdy Doody looking vest on! What’s with the red shirt underneath!
The fact that she said "I did nothing wrong" after behaving like this speaks volumes. Not even an "Okay, maybe I over reacted a bit" followed by a lame excuse?? Lord have mercy.
Best way to know if the person you're dating is a nice person? See how they treat the cashier at McDonald's, Walmart or any server at a restaurant, see how they treat the janitor and that'll give you a clue who they truly are
@@hull_k0gan641this situation right here is called accountability. If you’re so pressed about a Karen getting what she deserves maybe you should focus on yourself
@@newname3021 I think you need to reread what I typed. She’s clearly a crazy bitch. Nowhere did I mention anything sympathetic towards her. Exactly what I said is what I meant and it’s true. Focus on myself? Stfu. What are you, a wise old black woman?
@@newname3021 Accountability would be having this woman banned from that McDonald's until she gives a heartfelt apology. Causing her to lose her job is not holding her accountable. Unless she also works for McDonald's? It just seems unnecessarily cruel in my unsolicited opinion.
I bet her employers were just WAITING for an excuse to fire her. People who act like that do so because they're a**holes. Which means this isn't a one off situation. She probably treats her coworkers like this.
Oh she definitely treats her coworkers like this... which is why one of them was there filming. (I don't know this for a fact, but I'd bet money on it.)
If this is how she reacts over a little extra ketchup on her burger, I can't even f'ing imagine how much she sucks to work around. I feel like there was probably a HUGE party at the office after she got fired.
I feel like she is a little bit more respectful with the ppl she works with but she sees food service workers as low class so she got her shot to feel like a boss and ran with it. I'm glad she lost her job but someone shoulda whooped her ass cause she will get another job.
She says she was letting them know that they made her burger wrong. Ma’am, you smashed the burger on the counter and proceeded to scream at the employees. She’s 100% delusional and an absolute Karen. Guaranteed she’s a nightmare to work with, too.
The extra ketchup diet is very specific with respect to apportionment. The McDonald's employees obviously should have read the handbook and understood exactly how much ketchup meets the extra ketchup diet standard. Duh. She did *NOTHING* wrong.
I worked at McDonald’s for about six months when I was at the high school and the catch up is used with a pre-measured condiment dispenser, which gives the same amount for everybody. If she wanted a different amount, then she should’ve ordered it plain and added her own catch-up.
She got fired because her employer doesn't want her to fly off the handle like that with a client or coworker. I mean ' if you can't handle a burger mistake, then you can't handle real stress that comes with a job. Oh - and she might wear that outfit to work.
Nah, this was staged. Her response to it didn't sound legit real. Then when I go back and watch the original video, and she obviously was doing this for clicks for the uploader.
When you ask for something ‘extra’ everyone has different ideas about what that looks like, so as a self proclaimed picky ass eater myself it would’ve been better for her to just ask for extra packets and put however much ‘extra’ ketchup she wanted 💀
I used to work at Subway and the amount of dickheaded narcissists who think that the amount 'extra' means is the ONE TRUE CORRECT AMOUNT and you're a fucking IDIOT for not divining exactly how much they want, not too much or not too little, was at least 20% of the dumbfucks walking through the door. I could tell there were people who enjoyed verbally abusing the employees more than they enjoyed the food. There were people who abused employees EVERY TIME, EVERY DAY.
@@trollnerd right?! Idk why people miss out on the fact that if you’re kind and respectful to people, you have a better chance of getting what you ask for!
She could've asked politely for a different burger or scraped the ketchup off herself. However, there's no such thing as logic or maturity when it comes to a Karen.
As much as I hate trying to destroy lives over a video, I do think some retribution is required. These people act like this BECAUSE they think they can’t be held accountable. Well. She was. And now look how shocked she is that it actually bit her in the ass for treating people like this.
People act like this because they mostly get away with being entitled problematic a**holes. Meanwhile the good people with manners, respect for others, and just plan courtesy in public are the ones who suffer as do those in businesses, owners and employees. No one seems to want to "make trouble". Bad behavior needs to stop. Thankfully there are some people that catch idiots on a bad day or just another day in their lives making others miserable just because.
yes indeed. i wish the vengeance of someone or a group like "anonymous" would post her personal public domain information online here. thank you in advace..it's karens like her that this IS the reason why the name "karen" has become an adjective.
So I'm pretty sure what happened was, she was likely incredibly rude and/or stuck up when ordering her food. So when she said "extra ketchup," the employees thought "oh you want extra ketchup? I'll give you extra ketchup" and then flooded it. I worked fast food for many years and am no stranger to such interaction.
I'd have done the same. "treat me like s*it? Have some EXTRA extra ketchup" - she got what she asked for and has a weapons grade meltdown worse than that of a toddler being told they can't have ice cream until they've eaten their peas.
good to see that she got her dose of Karma, she still doesn't understand that her lousy attitude was what got her fired and she is the type that will go through life blaming everyone else for her problems and doesn't have sense enough to look in the mirror to see that she is her own worst enemy
She asked for extra ketchup, and they gave her extra ketchup. Why didn’t she just put the ketchup on if she has an exact quantity she was expecting?? Good god she deserves everything that comes her way
Yup then bitched about how much sugar was in ketchup and she can't eat that with her diet. Lol... (Like that's gonna be what tips the scale). she would complained if it was too light, too heavy, and there is no "perfect" unless she does it herself.. she's an absolute clown!
Got what she deserved. Her employer is most likely "At Will", to terminate her immediately. I hate people who treat service/hospitality staff like that! It reveals far more about her, than the people she's abusing.
Food service work is the worst job imaginable. The absolute entitlement of Americans when it comes to food service workers is unimaginable. They literally think you are their slave.
The worse I get when my order is wrong is “excuse me, i got the wrong order”, I would NEVER be like this over a damn fast food item. They aren’t paid enough to be screamed at over a cheap burger and you shouldn’t be angry enough to be screaming at them over a cheap burger.
You want extra ketchup on your burger? Every McDonald's everywhere has a goddamn ketchup pump that anyone can use. You can make your burger float in ketchup if you want it to, and you never have to get the staff involved.
It sounded like she was ordering in the drive thru. Not that her actions are justifiable of course. She could have easily scraped the excess ketchup off and let bygones be bygones.
How could this woman look at that footage & claim she did nothing wrong? This must be an everyday occurrence for her She thinks it's ok to berate, yell, & throw a temper tantrum over a freakin burger. Especially when they just followed her directions to add extra ketchup. Unbelievable! 🙄🤨
She didn't understand that you can do whatever you want, but there are consequences for your actions. Now she knows and doesn't like paying the price. Imagine having her working for you and see her doing this in public
In food service, asking for "extra" something usually means double the standard portion. So if a burger normally has 2 squirts of ketchup and if you want extra ketchup, it becomes 4 squirts of ketchup. If that's too much, then ask for ketchup packets next time and put the ketchup on your burger yourself.
She really did ask for extra ketchup and then throw a fit when she got what she asked for. That's impressive. And what prevented her from wiping off some of the ketchup?
I've seen this video before and to see something actually came of this is awesome. I was totally expecting some lame apology then she says she literally did nothing wrong. Mind blown.
That's true! When I go on dates and it happens to be in a place that serves food, I always pay attention to how my date treats wait staff. I guarantee you it helps you dodge bullets 100%
"I asked for extra ketchup....THIS IS TOO MUCH KETCHUP ARGH RAAR ARGHL!!!!" Damn, she must be fun to live with. Imagine if you accidentally leave the toilet seat up or don't put away the salt shaker.
I've had too much tomato sauce on my burger before, you know what I did? I walked back in and smashed it on the counter---nah I actually just wiped some of it off like a normal person.
I once got a 1/2-pound burger that had too much of everything on it, I couldn't pick it up without stuff falling out of it. So I ate it with a knife and fork. Nothing there warrants a freak-out, OMG.
No You will make my burger to perfection every fucking time and by golly G if you don't I wall ham slam that burger down so fast on the counter, that It will awaken the cow from its grave and start moooin. Or maybe that is me i dont know.
Even when you're not on the clock, your employer sees you as a representative of the company. Needless to say, they don't want an employee who behaves like this girl did.
She’s fussy enough to not want the standard preparation… but too lazy to ketchup her own burger using the ketchup provided by the restaurant in two different formats of dispensation (pump or packet) and at no additional charge. I am a very fussy eater myself, and so when I get fast food burgers, I tell them NO ketchup so that I can ketchup it myself to my exact liking. To bother some low-paid stranger with such a trivial task that you are really fussy about but that you can do yourself within seconds to your exact liking is acting spoiled, at best, and possibly borderline insane.
Being a FORMER Mickey D's employee...I can say with 💯 percent authority and authenticity that the words McDonald's and Diet DO NOT go together...PERIOD!
No, you’re already wrong. It’s a CHEAT meal. Pretty much every diet that includes exercise has one in it somewhere. Being an ex McDonald’s employee actually makes you an expert on nothing.
@@ginalahue8694 no. I’d say that makes me more qualified lol. That’s nothing to brag about. I definitely don’t think it makes you some super genius. 100% have taken nutrition classes. If we’re going to brag about employment, I’m an ER nurse so there’s that.
