I knew this show was doomed the second the writers admitted they had no idea how to write courtroom scenes.

I know that as a MAN... I can definitely run around late at night and feel perfectly safe. This is because my male privilege manifests as a knife-proof forcefield that also deflects bullets.

It's appalling how stupid they made Jen in this show. Sure she wasn't a super genius in the comics and cartoons, but you can at tell she has good common sense, had an amazing way with words, and is actually good at her job. Here, she's constantly shown how little she understands both the lawyer system and general life outside of her cushy first-world, priveleged lifestyle, yet she still gets rewarded for it.

She’s a lawyer right? Shouldn’t she somewhat know how trademarks works?

"Oh God I wish Stan Lee was still alive." No, it's for the better that Stan isn't alive to see how Disney & Marvel are taking a huge dump on the beloved characters he created.

Daredevil's original suitmaker was Melvin Potter who also made suits for Kingpin because he was forced to. Fisk would hurt Betsy, a parole officer who helps Melvin, so he makes Fisk's suits. Daredevil got a suit because he said he would protect Betsy for Melvin. She-hulk just decided to make an Edna Mode Wannabe to make Daredevil's suit. Why on earth would Daredevil want a suit from LA when he lives in Hell's Kitchen?

"That's why he pays me the medium bucks" to be the DEPARTMENT HEAD AT A MAJOR LA LAW FIRM. A job like that probably pays, at MINIMUM, 400k.

The media network that came up with the term "She-Hulk" would definitely copyright the name before anyone else could. And probably sell/share the rights with the law firm, at a huge price. In fact, in the first Spider-Man film: J. Jonah Jameson: "'The Green Goblin', you like that? Made it up myself. These weirdos all gotta have a name now. Hoffman! Run down to the patent office, copyright the name "Green Goblin." I want a quarter every time someone says it."

The She-Hulk show is Jessica Gao throwing a temper tantrum cause she's mad at Kevin Fiege for not letting her write for Black Widow or Shang Chi-both projects she felt entitled to write for merely cause she is a woman and also Asian. She's mad at the fans for hating the terrible Black Widow and Shang Chi movies and wanted to get back at them too, so she wrote a show to dress down all of her supposed detractors like she wrote the therapy bits in the Pickle Rick episode of Rick and Morty to dress down the character of Rick.

The best thing about this show is Jlongbone. I could not stay awake if it weren't for that MST3K named lady and her wonderful commentary. The funny reactions are leagues above this shows idea of "comedy."

Maybe the writers should've taken inspirations from Camille Vasquez and not Elaine Bredehoft when portraying Jen as a competent lawyer.

It's funny how cat calling can infuriate her, but in the mall she doesn't just hulk out and be like, "Bitch, who's the She-Hulk?!?" (I use the word "funny" ambiguously, obviously)

It really seems the magic of Marvel was lost when Stan Lee passed away.

So from what I’ve heard Titania is supposed to be Jen’s nemesis, but I’m really not seeing how she’s a threat if she’s barely an inconvenience to take down in a fight or in court.

By the way, trademark law does not operate by a first to file system, so even if one were to manage to register a mark over which they had no legitimate rights or Goodwill, the mark would easily be expunged by any challenger. There are also additional requirements to trademark a personal name.Is there any reason why the writers couldn't have spent a few hundred bucks to get the opinion of a trademark /I lawyer?

She-Woke needs to be a cautionary tale for up-and-coming directors, writers and producers who want to make entertainment and it will show what not to do in a show or a film for that matter.

I don't think I even understand the conflict of She-Hulk being trademarked not by Jen. Shouldn't she just, not care that she can't use the name? I thought she was totally indifferent to it when the press started using it for her. She could just tell everyone to give her a new name, let Titania have her dumb brand. This all only makes sense as a meta-problem, like Jen knows she HAS to be called She-Hulk. But of course, the writers didn't utilize the very meta nature of her character in any way that made sense. 2:26 wait so Jen's friend does bring it up.. Jen admits she doesn't like the name anyway.. and her excuse for fighting Titania on this is just that "well that's what the public likes soooo" ???

Ironic how she wants so much to be a lawyer, yet she sucks so much at being a lawyer. Edit: "It's lazy, it's reductive, it's garbage" sums up the entire show.

You know these dumb people in the writer's room could have literally hired Dick Wolf as a Ghost writer. And he would have done it he would have put a lot of character in She-Hulk with the Law stuff. The thing about Dick Wolf is he doesn't care about the money. He literally just cares about writing scripts and writing stories. That's all he cares about even if his shows kind of. Suck he keeps writing I mean look at the seasons of Law and order special victims unit. And plus he would have probably did it for free he probably did it for the least amount of money. That you were going to offer him as long as he gets the write he's good.

Personally I like the movie Iron Man 3. In that movie Tony realises that he doesn’t need the suit to be Iron Man. Also, I related to him the most in that film as someone who has anxiety. Besides, it’s always fun to watch Robert Downey Jr, he’s so charismatic.

How is Iron Man 2 supposed to be the bad one anyway when that's the one with actual character development, it was similiar to batman returns with others that could be or Iron Man could become and he is set on a course correction. Nevermind the intro of Black Widow being handled well. #MCUPhase1superiority "You choose two examples of people who used there real names" OK, that line was actually funny, as was the "you suck she-hulk" lawyer woman. Then Daredevil turns up like he got a DBZ power-up complete with lots of gold and a non-sensical in person interaction (I'd buy him ordering it but he'd send in the dimensions and hide his indentity, if anyone finds out he's the blind lawyer and tells his lawyer career goes up IN FLAMES!)

In the dark you can see a car coming 3 minutes before they hit you. In the daytime there are more cars and they aren't quite as obvious. 3:14 to be fair, I'm not in LA. Not even in burgerland. Guns are even louder than cars, though. That shit doesn't really sneak up on you unless you're actually deaf due to blasting headphones at 110% volume for 10 years 24 hours a day.

Ok in defense of She-Hulk, having her stories be based around the law instead of dramatic life or death choices and world saving heroics makes sense. The REAL flaw is that the show fails to present her as the confident, COMPETENT lawyer she is meant to be because that would require some level of competency from the writing staff.

The more episodes I see from this show, the more I miss shitty CW Kate Kane Batwoman. She was just as narcissistic and obnoxious about her “oppressed” status as Jen, but it was more fun to watch and shockingly even SHE had moments were her shit attitude caused things to blow up in her face. Even Mary and Luke gave her lip. Here, we keep waiting for Jen to fail and it DOESN’T HAPPEN. Even when it DOES happen it gets retconned nearly immediately.
